What To Expect

Your tour begins with pickup from your central Krakow hotel in time for a 9.15am departure. Traveling by air-conditioned Mercedes Benz vehicle, set out on the around 1-hour 10-minute journey to Auschwitz and watch the documentary ‘The liberation of Auschwitz’ along the way. On arrival, use your prepaid skip-the-line tickets to head straight inside and follow your guide on a tour of the vast complex.

Explore the various buildings of the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau camps, passing beneath the ‘Arbeit macht frei’ sign at the main entrance, and visiting the original wooden barracks, the bathhouse, and the watchtower, as well as seeing the crematorium, gas chamber, and the Death Wall. Along the way, learn more about the history of the camp and how it became one of the most notorious of the Nazi Regime, hear about life in WWII-era Poland, and visit the on-site museum, which displays a moving collection of photographs, documents, and personal items belonging to the prisoners.

At the end of the visit, return to Krakow, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 4.15pm.

As it is mandatory in Auschwitz Birkenau museum to confirm your personal details, you are required to take with you passport or ID to be presented at the entrance to museum. Please do not forget it, otherwise you may be not allowed to enter museum.
While in the camps, visitors are required to behave appropriately and respectfully.

Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions.
The maximum size of your carry-on can not exceed the following dimensions: 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can leave your larger luggage in the car.
Please note that in the camps there are mostly dirt tracks, which may cause minor difficulties for wheelchair-users.
Some spaces are not accessible by wider wheelchairs or strollers. For the comfort of visitors with mobility problems, the museum provides substitute wheelchairs of size allowing to move around the grounds and buildings. Our driver will help you arrange the substitute wheelchair.
A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau can prove traumatic, therefore we recommend that visitors were at least 13 years old.

Very well organised. Pick up times communicated well. Throughout the trip, about 7 hours, you can only get drinks at various stops. We bought sandwiches beforehand which you can eat on the coach. Our guide (sorry have forgotten the young ladies name) was so passionate and knowledgeable about both camps with a few family memories of this horrific time. A very sombre day but a must do.

Extremely moving visit and very interesting looking at some of the worst history in our lifetime. However our guide didn't seem to want to answer any questions or move off her script. She spoke very fast and appeared to be moving our group through at a fast pace. Spoilt the experience at times by the haste of presentation. Otherwise all good with collection and provision of services offered

While the time at the camps and museum was an unforgettable experience, the company that arranged our transport to and from were not great. No pick up time was confirmed until gone 9pm the night before. On the morning it was over an hour from being picked up until we actually set off to Auschwitz as there were so many pick ups and we waited nearly half an hour for passengers who arrived late.

I didn't catch the name of our guide, but she was very professional and well spoken. One of the best tour guides I ever had. The pick up and drop off service was great, but I have to add that on 'what's included list' there was also wifi and an evening old town tour promised which we did not get.

The transfer was in a fantastic Mercedes minibus and pick up bang on time. We had the best worst day for the experience in that although Aug 6th it was driving rain and really added to the experience. We had the best tour guide who I’m sorry can’t remember his name but was amazing and his grandad was in Auschwitz which he only told us at the end, he told us all the things we needed to know with passion and respect and thanks to him made the once in a lifetime visit unforgettable, thank you guys worth every penny !!!!

A long day out due to traffic, but well worth it. The second world war is part of history and therefore viewing the horrors of Auschwitz and Birkenhau concentration camps is a must see tour to fully understand the reality of what happened during this period. A very sombre day out but extremely educational
