You will receive a welcome message from us with your booking confirmation. Departure time depends on availability in Auschwitz. Customers from hotels in the area of the Main Square, will be sent to the nearest possible pick-up point. Customers from hotels outside the area will be asked to wait at a designated point. The exact pickup time and location will be confirmed a day before the tour.

  • VISIT: Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is a place visited by hundreds of people every day. Keeping your own pace of sightseeing is not possible. While in the camps, visitors are required to behave appropriately and respectfully. Dress code is smart casual, to respect the place. Eating and smoking, as well as acting in a loud manner are forbidden at the Museum.
  • PICKUP: Some of the hotels in Krakow are located in traffic restricted areas. Your pick up will be organised from the nearest possible point and you will be informed.
  • Infant seats available
  • Most travelers can participate
  • DEPARTURE: The hours you book are tentative and may change. The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions.
  • DOCUMENTS: As it is mandatory in Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum to confirm your personal details, you are required to put in the reservation full names of all participants and to take with you passport or ID which might be checked at the entrance to the museum. Otherwise you may not be allowed to enter the museum.
  • BAG SIZE: Please note you are not permitted to enter the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum with large bags or backpacks. The maximum size permitted is 30cm x 20cm x 10cm. You can leave your bags at the car which is locked during your visit.
  • LUNCH: Lunch is not included.There is not enough time for a regular lunch between your visits to the Auschwitz (1st camp) and Birkenau (2nd camp), so please bring a snack or something to eat if you think you could get hungry. On the spot you can find a grocery shop, snack bar and restaurant.
  • SECURITY: Be prepared to go through a security check (similar to the airport's one) in order to enter Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
  • WEATHER: We operate in all weather conditions. Up to 70% of the time you spend outdoors (especially at Auschwitz II Birkenau). Please bring weather appropriate clothing and water on sunny days.
  • CHILDREN: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available. A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum can be traumatic, therefore we recommend that visitors should be at least 13 years old.
  • PICTURES: Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions. Taking photos in the buildings with the use of flash is forbidden.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

FAR TOO RUSHED AND CRAMMED IN

WAY too busy and WAY too rushed. It was like a conveyor belt. Nowhere near enough time to read everything and take it all in. Such a shame. Even how the tour operator structured things it was far too rushed. No proper break built in to just sit and have a drink or bite to eat. Not even enough time to look around the book shop. On a positive note, the driver was a lovely lady who was very friendly.

I totally understand your frustration with the rushed pace of the tour. But these historical sites as Auschwitz and Birkenau can are very busy, and it can be challenging to have the time to fully absorb all the information and take in the experience. It's great that you found the driver friendly and had a positive interaction with them. But it's a shame that you couldn't enjoy a more leisurely visit.

A must do tour when visiting Poland. Our guide, Piotr, was very informative and answered any questions the group had. The drive was about 1hr 30mins to get there from Krakow. There is a lot of the tour is walking outside and over gravel which I would advise anyone booking to take into consideration. The tour company had really good communication via whatsapp and offered a pack lunch too. Would definitely recommend using this company.

Great tour and tour guide, but the operator probably trying to cut some costs so the driver didnt pass the expressway to and from the camp which added maybe 1/2 hour per way. Oh, and our driver wasnt the friendliest guy around. Went Aug 31, 2023.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I just want to clarify: the highway does not lead directly to Auschwitz, so it is not faster at all. Sometimes, it can be quite a bit slower. 🚗🚗 The local road has a unique character and atmosphere. Plus, you don't have to drive 140 kilometers per hour, so everyone feels safe. Take this into account next time. 🌍🚐📜
