The salt mines was like nothing I have seen before. A great place to visit and very atmospheric. Great place to get your steps in too! Wear some comfy, supportive shoes! The guide was very informative and the driver was very helpful too.

Badly organised and very uncomfortable

A very rushed and uncomfortable day. No Air conditioning on the coach and the temperature was 30 degrees. My friend was pregnant and felt terrible in the heat and other passengers where clearly stressed due to the heat . Tried to communicate with the drive but he didn’t understand English. The tour around the mine seemed very rushed and poorly organised.

Unfortunately we don't provide the guides. Museum does, that is why we cannot do anything if the tour was rushed other than contact the museum and look into it. We are very sorry about the lack of air conditioning. We will look through it.

The WOW factor from start to finish! Everything was amazing, the guide was fantastic. Every part of the tour kept you guessing as to what was coming next. It was never disappointing. It still amazes me how the sculptures were created . 5 stars

Breathtaking friendly knowledge history

Our tour guide Isabelle was brilliant, very knowledgeable about the salt mines and all information was delivered with a brilliant sense of humor. Our pick up location was central and easy to find via walking or tram. Inside the salt mine itself was a little stop/start due to other groups ahead. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to visit the salt mines. Great value for money and a reliable company. I absolutely loved the chapel, I don't want to say too much and ruin it for others but the only way I could describe this experience is breathtaking. The only thing that could have been better was a more prompt start. When we arrived we were told we had half an hour to kill before entering the mine and we had not prepared to be in the sun for so long. My biggest tip for anyone visiting the mine is pack light, wear comfy shoes and invest in a good camera as you're going to want to take photographs of everything! 😊

Over paid by $30 because I booked the night before. Some services offered pickup/drop off from hotel. Mine didn’t & I had to Uber. The first tour to Auschwitz was fine but the bus to take us to the salt mine never showed up. Waiting to hear back whether they have approved my partial refund. Not happy at all.

Our tour guide Peter was quite difficult to understand and even harder to hear. Despite numerous requests to speak up most of the group were left none the wiser. If guides are softly spoken then provide them with a microphone & visitors will headphones - it’s not rocket science!

Salt Mines - well worth the visit

A fabulous trip to the Salt Mine. Our guide Renata was superb making the whole visit memorable. She ensured that everyone in the group was well looked after. Each area we were given some history. A good trip even is you feel claustrophobic as the space is large and well ventilated. Our group walked down the steps and the ascended via the lift which is operated by a member of the mines. A 5* visit.

A must do experience whilst in Krakow. The guided tour is good, but a little quick. Not much time to take in the experience. And a lot of people in the Mine, which can impact the enjoyment. Will recommend, but probably better out of busy season.

The tour of the Salt Mine was great. Bus pickup in Krakow worked well, however after the tour was over we were left to our own device to return to the bus for the trip back to town.
