We'll meet outside El Patio Building on Ivanhoe Avenue, about a block from the intersection of Prospect and Ivanhoe. The underground parkade here is a great place to park too. It's the least expensive lot/parkade in La Jolla and a perfect place for us to begin.

The tour will end at the Children's Pool. From here you can decide if you want to stay down at the beach area, or walk back to our meeting point. (about a 5-10 minute walk)

Highly Recommend This Walking Tour

Kris was such a wonderful tour guide! We went on the La Jolla Walking Tour and had such a good time. On this tour you'll learn about the history of the area, recommendations for activities, see some awesome wildlife (probably), and just have really great conversation. This was the perfect way to get to know the area and I would recommend it for everyone!

Walking turn of La Jolla

I enjoyed this tour! Chris showed historical places in La jolla. It was fun to compare la jolla in old pictures and now. I love the weather and breeze from the sea. I saw a lots of seals, sea lions, sea gulls, and pelicans. 😊
