No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Ability to ride a bike with gears that weighs roughly 22kg - this ride contains uphill and downhill riding, short stretches of gravel and narrow village paths. Confidence and general agility are required.

Minimum age 14, minimum height 155cm (under 18yrs accompanied by an adult). Participants over 60 need to be recent, confident riders on varied terrain.
Suitable activewear - No sandals or open shoes, no loose-fitting long skirts or trousers.
Pick up from Menaggio ferry station available on request only and paid on-site
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Not recommended for travelers with mobility impairments, injuries, bad hips and lack of agility.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Must Do Activity in the Lake Region

This was a fantastic afternoon tour. We got to ride up the hills to 800 meters above sea level with amazing views down of Lake Como and then amazing views down of Lake Lugano. The favorite part for me was riding through "ghost" villages up in the hills where people have abandoned homes, but the charm and beauty remains. It felt like stepping back in time. Quick stop at Lake Lugano where the teenagers swam in the lake while the moms sipped a glass of Prosecco before making the easy ride back. One of the highlights of the trip. Can't recommend it enough.

Most amazing bike ride ever! Such beautiful scenery the entire way and wish I had a GoPro on my helmet! Biked through hard-to-reach places, yet nice E-bikes made it easy! Glad our group wasn’t afraid of heights bc the ride up to the historic village was worth it! Our guide, Luigi, was great, as was his wife Emily that set us up! Hope to return with entire family next time!

My husband, 14-year old daughter and I booked this e-bike tour after seeing the rave reviews on Viator. Luigi and Emily were organized, knowledgable and very friendly. They helped me navigate our slighted complicated travels plans in getting to them from our hotel (the Filario), with various ferry schedules and taxis. The bike ride itself is exactly as described. Beautiful vistas, farms, medieval villages and much more. The ride up consists of many switchbacks which seems daunting at first, but the pedal assist e-bike makes this a piece of cake. We lucked out and had a beautiful and cool afternoon ride and just our group of three. Highly recommend!

The family who organized the tour were so thorough before and during the tour. A taxi was ordered for us so that we could arrive on time without stress along with pre tour texts. The ebike tour was scenic along with amazing vistas , ,informative and comfortable having the guide at the front of the pack and an assistant at the rear. I loved the tour and I highly recommend it!!!!!
