Our Pick up service takes place in the center of Milan. The bus takes approximately one hour to Pick up all of the passengers, subject to traffic conditions and the number of passengers booked for that particular tour. For this reason, pick up times are shown as an interval “Starting from 7:30” means that we will pick up you at your hotel at 7:30 or after in order to be in time for the beginning of the tour.

What To Expect

One of the largest bodies of water in Italy, Lake Como's best sights vary with the time of year you visit. On this tour, travel with a guide to discover the highlights of the area around the lake with an itinerary tailored to the season. Food and drinks are at your own expense throughout the day.

Winter Tour: (November to March)

Relax on the morning journey from Milan to Lake Como. Hop out to stretch your legs on a tour of Como, the lake’s main town, and learn about its key sights around the historic center. From town, take the gondola to the village of Brunate, a serene spot in the hills above Como.

Gaze down at the lake, flanked by the Rhaetian Alps, and then make the most of some free time for lunch. Return to Como by gondola before the highlight of your day: a Lake Como boat tour. The water offers the best vantage point to see the lake and shorelines; keep an eye out for chic villas and luxury hotels as you cruise. Cernobbio’s opulent Villa d'Este hotel is one such sight with its grandiose façade and tropical gardens. 

After your return to shore, enjoy some free time to see the sights at your own pace, shop or perhaps sip a coffee. Then, finish your time in Como with a visit to the Basilica of Sant’Abbondio, a Romanesque-style 11th-century church, before your return to Milan. 

Summer Tour: (April to October)

After your coach journey from Milan, start your tour of Como with a look inside two of its historical attractions: the Basilica of Sant’Abbondio. Continue into Como’s historic center, and use your free time to get to know the town at your own pace with some sightseeing or shopping for Lake Como keepsakes.

Meet back with your guide for a scenic cruise around Lake Como, admiring the hillside villas and hotels, and pose for photos against the backdrop of the alps.

Return to dry land in time for your trip to the colorful seaside town of Bellagio, which many pinpoint as a highlight of the lake. Spend some time at your leisure here to explore and perhaps savor lunch. Later, cruise to Cadenabbia, then return to your coach for the journey back to Milan.

Was a beautiful trip and lake! Just very disappointed that no one notified us in advance that we would not be visiting Bellagio. I find this to be false advertising and am expecting reimbursement for this.

Unreal experience, if you are a solo or couple traveler then a highly recommend! worth every dollar, tour guide lady was perfect and could speak multiple languages. If you are someone like me who even thought about going to lake camo alone to save some extra coin, don’t. The lines are extremely long for boat rides and train rides. The tour guide was like the first class experience, it allowed the group to get skip everyone that been standing for hours waiting for the boat ride . The tour last from 9-5, be on time and don’t be afraid to ask questions. P.S you are allowed to move around on the boat so you can get great scenery. You also get 3 hours of your own time to do what you want after the last activity before heading back to Milan 10/10 experience. Thank you

The trip was good. The tour guide didn't know how to operate the radios very well. Lots of static because she wasn't holding the microphone correctly. She spoke very quickly and I missed a lot of information. I asked about pickup at the end of the tour and told me it would be behind the bus which wasn't the place where she meant. Luckily I saw the buses behind the church and the bus driver directed me to the group. Overall it was a good tour. Bellagio was supposed to be included which it was not. Joe Sappio

We are savvy travelers, but decided to do a tour because we didn’t want to have to plan anything. Meeting place was easy to find, and the bus to Como was comfortable and a short ride. The information given to us was thorough, and loved the boat ride the was included. We were also given “skip the line” funicular passes to Brunate (Bellagio was not available), and the free time we were given was perfect.

Great scenery and nice day trip, but the overall trip is a bit underwhelming. Compared to other parts of Italy, including Milan, there is little more historical information to be gained and the food is subpar. Because it is touristy, prices are higher than normal as well.

That's why I can't share photos because I didn't physically participate in the trip at all. Simply because the form and instructions they sent me said nine, I was already there at half past eight but no one was there, and I didn't get a phone number, and of course a normal company on the way called, but of course they didn't bother to call. And don't worry, they knew how to collect the money perfectly, and when I asked for a refund, even partially, they rudely replied that I didn't deserve it and didn't even bother to explain why. And the most amazing thing is that they keep sending me emails to share how the trip was. My recommendation I also wrote on the website for the cast, run away from this company, I have traveled all over the world and I have never come across anything like this. It sounds like a company of crooks. Obviously, you probably won't write the response, but don't worry, I wrote it on enough sites. I really don't know how you have no shame, and this is another fault of yours.

We had a wonderful time! Our guide was so knowledgeable- he gave us so many facts about the history and geography of the area. We would do this again and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in exploring the area for a day. Having transportation included was a big draw since we knew we had a safe and reliable way to get to and from Milan.
Perfect day trip to Como, and to take a pause from Milan

Simple and fun day trip to the Como area, and a nice way to break up a visit to Milan if you are going to be visiting for more than 3 days (e.g. 2 days in Milan, 1 day trip to Como, and 1 final day in Milan, etc.). The drive there and back is quite short, and you will have plenty of time to explore the town of Como, as well as the boat ride and the funicular (if you are going in the winter). It can be chilly on the boat in the winter, so bring an extra sweater or jacket if you want to stay on the deck of the boat during the ride!
