The family was so welcoming sharing their wines with us. The meats and cheese were delicious & such a treat. We adored this experience. We were there much longer than an hour and even went early due to not wanting to miss the ferry back to belliago & they were so accommodating.

This was one of the best parts of the trip so far. Such a wonderful experience trying 4 different wines, and getting to learn about them in great detail. We even continued the night with friends we had made during the tasting. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a fun evening activity!

Me, my husband and 2 of our closest friends (also a couple) traveled to Como as a part of our vacation and booked this activity based on the great reviews; and we are so glad we did. We chose to sit at a table of 4 vs a larger table with a mix of other visitors to Como, but they appeared to be having as much fun as we were. The 4 wine pours that came with the event were full size and not just a taste!!! Those doing the pours knew everything about where in Italy they came from, the grapes used, how they were made, what made these better than what we would typically get back in the US and shared other interesting wine facts and fun stories about their travels to select what they have in their store and served to us. On top of that was a fantastic cheese and meat board served with bread and crackers and they were kind enough to offer a little extra when we ate though the first serving. And then what a nice surprise at the end when we were offered one additional pour to have with dark chocolate. The wines were smooth, flavorful and the best I have ever had. So much so we selected 12 bottles (the maximum they can ship) to split between us, choosing a mix of our very favorites, to have shipped back to the US with the promise they would be there when we return in a week (still traveling so I will have to take his word). You cannot go wrong with this activity. We spent several hours, were not rushed and left feeling full and perhaps a little tipsy (speaking for myself only).

This was an amazing experience and anyone who is visiting the Como area should definitely make an effort to go! The wines were great and accompanied by a delicious bread, meat and cheese board and our host was also wonderful - so knowledgeable and welcoming, I can’t speak highly enough about this - stupendo experience!

A wonderful evening . Lovey wine with a comprehensive description. The accompanying meat or cheese was perfect .
A fantastically relaxed evening with great company and laughter.
We also stayed an extra hour with wine bought from the store .

We loved the food and wine! Plenty of both for all four of us, our lovely host had plenty of knowledge and charisma! His Partner made the nicest lasagna I have ever had and it was the perfect balance of learning, tasting and giving us time to chill and chat too! The little kitten was an added bonus! Would 100% recommend!
