It is definitely a must if you like cool and different places! It is a drive but Dave, our guide, was awesome. He kept us entertained with history and information of any place we passed. He was really accommodating of our dietary preferences and made us feel really relaxed on such a long trip. Horseshoe Bend was awesome with a little bit of a hike and the Antelope Canyon was spectacular. I would recommend it to anyone. Being in a smaller group helped a lot by not having to wait longer and be part of the same tours. Don't think about it, just do it! It is worth it!

Wonderful trip to Lower...
Claudia_B, Apr 2023
Wonderful trip to Lower Antelope Canyon with Elaine, our amazing guide. She was very knowledgeable, and was happy to answer any of the questions posed from our group. If I ever am back in the Vegas area, I would definitely want Elaine to head up any tour group I am on.

The Great Van Adventure

Our driver, Pat, was very accommodating and informative especially because of the hot weather. Got to see so much within a small amount of time and will go down as one of my favorite memorable trips.
No LowerAntelope Canyon Tour
Kathleen_P, Jul 2022
The driver, Reuben, was very nice and tried to get us there quickly. It was 4 hour drive each way so spending 8 hours in uncomfortable van wasn’t fun. Horseshoe Bend at hottest time of day, 12:30 pm, was a bit challenging for me but worth the short hike. It was breathtaking & pictures don’t do it justice. We were all very disappointed that Lower Antelope Canyon was closed when we arrived at 2 pm. Apparently, there was a flash flood warning. There has to be a way tour companies can check day of trip before driving so far. Apparently, partial refund will be given but trip cost $300 & getting back $65 doesn’t seem fair. You should credit $100 to each person on the van. Breakfast is a blueberry muffin glad I ate something earlier. Small variety bags of chips for snacks & water and soft drinks. Cooler should be refilled with water bottles throughout the day which it wasn’t so I had warm water after hike (unacceptable) Lunch is a messy hot chicken sandwich. What makes this trip so costly?? I wanted to explore Lower Antelope Canyon so I was extremely disappointed with the tour.

Thank you very much for your review and for joining us at MaxTour on this tour. We were devastated when we found out that the local Navajo government closed Antelope Canyon due to flash flooding, but it probably pales in comparison to the disappointment you felt. We are very sorry you were disappointed with our tour. The canyon did end up flooding that day, doing so much damage that it remained closed through the following day. Flash flood warnings are hard to predict, and there was no rain in the forecast; therefore, the tour went ahead as planned. Closures to certain parts of the tour due to weather are completely out of our control. All tours leaving from different departure points and going to different sections of Antelope Canyon were not able to go inside on this day. As for the cost of your tour, it is calculated from three main aspects: 1. The distance - This tour covers over 600 miles, which creates tremendous gas, vehicle, and driver costs. 2. Agent fees - By booking your tour through a 3rd party, a large percentage of your tour fee isn't even making it to the tour operator. 3. Lower Antelope Canyon Tickets - We only take our guests to the world famous Lower Antelope Canyon, which comes at a higher price than similar tours that take their guests to the cheaper Canyon X. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your lunch. We do get lunch from the top-rated restaurant in the area and our guests are usually very happy to have such a meal from a highly rated mom and pop restaurant. Thanks again for joining us and please take care.
was a great experience....

Lower Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe bend tour
Gary_F, Jun 2022
Antelope Canyon was super cool to see. Didn't care for the mask restrictions but understand the concerns and respect the rules of the land. Our native tour guide Xavier was awesome as well as our driver. Horshoe bend was beautiful as well as lake Powell. I'm afraid of heights so some parts were a little challenging to get through, but still glad I did it. Overall the trip was awesome! Friendly staff. It was long which I was prepared for but the van was not very comfortable. It was nice and clean and air-conditioned, but for a long trip the seats are not very comfortable. I'm 5'3" and the seats are a little high up which puts a stain on my hamstrings. We had had plenty of snacks and water. And I liked that the lunch was supporting a local mom and pop restaurant . Very tasty.

Hi Gary, Thanks for joning us on a trip to Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, I am glad to hear that overall the trip was awesome! I have to say that I was devastated to hear that you thought our tour van wasn't very comfortable. We understand that the mode of transportation is of utmost importance when traveling over 15 hours on a tour. Knowing this, we have made countless modifications our tour vans to make them as comfortable as possible for our guests. Granted, we spent a lot of time testing our seats for guests that are 6'3" (we now offer more legroom than any other comparable tour), but we failed to consider what it would be like for other guests. We will look more into this, thanks for bringing it to our attention. In the end, we are glad you got to see Lower Antelope Canyon, we take pride in making sure all of our guests get to see this part of the canyon, as it is simply the best part. It sounds like you loved it as much as we do, and I am glad you liked your lunch too. Thanks again for joining us and taking time to review our tour, and please take care.
Highly recommended

Ruben was an awesome driver who took great care of us on our adventure. Breakfast was provided, lots of stops to stretch on the drive, horseshoe bend was beautiful, lunch was great, and antelope canyon was out of this world! So happy we chose this tour and can’t recommend it enough.

Our tour guide Michael was personal, professional, and accommodating to our group. Antelope Canyon needs to be on everyone’s bucket list. Our guide through the canyon balanced humor and history making the whole experience memorable AND he assisted with photos and where to take the best picture AND acted as photographer. Best experience ever!!!!

Michael from Maxtravel was an excellent guide. We left and arrived on time and everything was arranged perfectly. The tour is a must when you have some time in Vegas. The views will leave you amazed. It wasn‘t so crowded in February and the weather was just right, not too warm and not too cold. Overall the experience is extremely satisfied

Well conceived, planned and executed. Sufficient time to see everything. Our guide Adam was great, knowledgeable and very co-operative. Took great care of our group rocking everything enroute. Recommended to our friends who are planning next month. Thanks Max tour. I will come back to see upper antelope canyon.
Great experience!

Our tour guide Kane Ray from Max Tours was great! He kept entertaining us along the way, and pointed out things to do and to see in Las Vegas and along the way. The Canyon tour guide Jose was wonderful as well. He pointed out all good positions for photos and took great photos for us. And amazingly, he even gave us a demo on how the Canyon was formed from sand, water, wind, etc., and showed us the Canyon flood video. We enjoyed our experience very much!

Loved this tour!

The driver kept us on a tight schedule which was much appreciated for a long trip like this one. He was very experienced and knowledgeable. Lower antelope is harder to hike, but don't let that discourage you.Horseshoe bend was more of a trek in my opinion. Continental breakfast, hot sandwich and chips for lunch. Adequate bathroom breaks. A+

I have posted some pics from Lower Antelope Canyon on FB. My friends have all put this on their bucket list now. David, our guide and driver for the whole tour was great.
Worth every penny!

This was a great tour to go on. Having the option to go on the tour with a smaller group was really nice since I was traveling from Las Vegas and a larger group may have made for a long ride. David was a wonderful driver - fun to talk to and very helpful and accommodating. The muffins were perfect for breakfast and the lunch stop was easily the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend booking with this group if you are considering touring the area!

Good organisation by Max Tours and a nice driver/guide David! The journey to and fro Las Vegas and the attractions was long but was worth the long time spent in the van!
