I like that we tried different variety of foods and got some excising in; so wear your gym shoes lol.

Tour was interesting going through old Vegas. Food was good. Our guide lacked enthusiasm. She a was a bit abrupt at times. Like when we got there, asked if she was our guide. Her kurt response was “give me a minute “. That was her response to everyone that showed up. No hello or introduction. Became friendly at tip time.

April was a delight! The restaurants and their cuisine varied and getting to know a bit of history about old Las Vegas was a welcome change of pace from the hustle of The Strip. This wasn’t the greatest food tour. I was hoping to discover something different. Everything seemed what you could get anywhere. The Vegenation food was probably the best which was a nice surprise. All the Thai tea was amazing, but everything else was really average. The saving Grace of this tour is April. She’s full of info and energy. Really good. She was accompanied by Liko who really needs to bone up on his stuff. I assume he was new. He did give us a self indulgent rap, but April was the star.

April was a great host, and we really enjoyed getting a taste of what life (and the food) is like for the locale in Las Vegas. We also weren’t otherwise going to get to experience Downtown on our 3 day trip without doing this tour, and I felt like we really got to see all of the highlights.
