After the ATV/RZR Guided tour you are served lunch by Capriotti's, and this is a great opportunity to share your stories about your ride. The next adventures begin by our guides taking you on a walking tour of the World Famous 1861 Techatticup gold mine. Sharing all the historical and fun facts. Throughout the day you will see the most unique, out of this world antiques. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

If your looking for an adventure with speed then this is. It for you. It’s slow pace driving through the dirt fields on the backside of the mountains not much to see or excitement. They should had specified that on the tour that this tour is slow pace and only in the fields. I give it to our guide who tried her best to make the best experience for all of us. Speed on the ATV/ RSR around 20-25mph. FYI

Thank you for your feedback! This tour is for everybody from families, groups, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, all ages and groups love our tours. This is described as a SCENIC tour, not an adrenaline rush tour. And you cannot beat the sightseeing in Nelson NV and the beautiful mountain, it is a One of a Kind location that has been visited by thousands and thousands of people. Movies and music videos have been filmed here, and photographers are at this location on a daily basis.

My best friend and I had a blast! It was both our first time experiencing Vegas and ATV riding. Our tour guide (Alisha) was awesome! She was kind, knowledgeable and kept us hydrated and laughing the entire time. I would definitely recommend Awesome Adventures, and Alisha. 10 out of 10 experience! :)

Eric was our guide, and OMG he was great. A guide can make or break an adventure, and he made it a fabulous day for everyone. He was so personable, and a wealth of information on the area and tour of the mine. Their equipment was in great condition and the ride was through very scenic area. We lucked into seeing blooming cactus. Safety and fun was a priority for Eric. He encouraged drinking plenty of water to keep us hydrated. The lunch was delicious and much needed after the ride. Highly recommend this adventure and I hope you get Eric!

The trip was not that exciting or adventurous. I was was thinking we would get off and explore places. At the end, It seemed the ride was for entry level riders.

This is described as a SCENIC TOUR, it is not a tour that you will be going 50mph. This tour is not only for beginners but also experts, and we have the reviews to show them too. Tour was advertised as a half-day activity.....when only 45 mins was dedicated to actual ATV riding...while the rest was spent taking photos and touring the historic gold mine location ledd by our tour guides. I wouldn't take this tour again nor recommend to others

I am so sorry we did not live up to your expectations. The tour description does say it is roughly 60 minutes of ride time, it does take 45 to 55 minutes to get to the location and bring you back to your hotel, sightseeing and photos. It is not 4 hours of ride time, it is 4 hours total for everything on your tour.

Incredible day with stunning views and lots of history

My partner and I agreed that this was our favorite Viator tour of all time. We did the full day tour and explored the historic mining town of el dorado, which truly made us feel like we teleported in time. We then ATV’d around the canyons and took a stop to look inside the mining caves and admire the stunning views around us (you could even see the west rim of the Grand Canyon!). Alisha went above and beyond to make us feel safe & secure since it was my first time ATVing on rocky terrain. We then took a lunch break with stunning views of the Colorado river against the mountains, and came back for a tour of the mining caves. The inside of the caves were out of this world and nothing we’ve ever seen before. This tour was well-timed, extensive, full of history and adventure. With all that being said, our highlight was still most definitely Alisha. She was incredibly attentive, fun and knowledgeable. We would 100% book this trip again!
