Pretty Views with a Risky Ride
Rachel_M, Mar 2023
The bike ride itself was very beautiful. However one thing we didn’t know was that we would be biking on the road with cars. The 13 mile loop is a one way shared with cars going the same direction, and then you have to bike on shoulder of a two lane highway for two miles to get back to the van. This felt very unsafe to us, and we would not have chosen this tour if we knew we would have to bike on the highway that way. The bikes go pretty fast (20-25mph) and if you happened to fall on your bike, you could very easily fall in front of a car. A suggestion to the tour would be to have someone bring the van back to second parking lot before the highway, instead of having the group bike along the highway. It was also pretty cold up there, so make sure to dress warm!
Red Rock Canyon E-Bike ride with Escape Adventures
Jeff_C, Mar 2023
Had a great time with the E-bikes @ Escape Adventures in Las Vegas. Enjoyed our trip around Red Rock Canyon. Cold day with some wind, but had fun and my friend and I enjoyed ourselves. With the E-bike I was able to get up to 35 MPH and we cruised at our leisure and stopped at most every stop along the way to take pictures and take in the sights. The bikes electronic assist was nice and worked well. It was my first time riding them so it was completely new to me and also my friend. They were Specialized bikes and had 3 modes. Eco, Sport & Turbo. Was in turbo most the time and only got it down to around 50% battery by the end of the ride which was about two and a half hours or so I believe. Just had minor issues with the pick up spot we were told we were getting picked up at the North Lot of the Mirage where the ride share area is located at 1 p.m.. Dewey our driver was solid and apologized for the confusion as he went to the valet parking area. We didn't end up leaving till around 1:15ish. Once to our destination we met Gavin who was nice and personable he let us ride the bikes around and get a feel for them. He was the tour guide for a couple that was also doing the e-bikes. Only issue there is we did a self-guided tour and we weren't given a map but we did have his number and the name of the meetup location which was in town. We were told we had to be back by 4:30 p.m. and we made it back around 4:20. We stopped plenty and didn't really rush. Red Rock Canyon was a big loop so were fine on not getting lost but had to make sure we had the name of the bike shop back to meet up in town and made sure to use GPS so we didn't get lost. The total mileage was around 20+ miles of riding. Overall good experience and would recommend them!

A top activity to explore Las Vegas

Great adventure. We felt safe on the bikes and also on the route. The scenery was gorgeous and we would definitely do this activity again.
Biking riding in a snowstorm
DorothyA_B, Jan 2023
Even though it started snowing as we arrived at Red Rock, the guide decided to proceed with the tour. 5 miles in it was snowing so hard with ice and slush reported on the road that the ranger closed the park but we still had 7 miles to ride to get back to the van. Ice was accumulating on the bike cables and the e-bikes began to have problems. Our guide advised us to go slow due to the icy roads so it was a very, very cold 7 miles of slipping and sliding. Fortunately none of us got hurt but we were all soaked and shivering. I wouldn’t recommend a tour when the tour goes rain or shine or snowstorm. We couldn’t see a thing.
Great views; limited service
Patrick_B, Jan 2023
While our guide was very nice and friendly, she was, at her own admission, assigned this tour at the last minute and was unprepared. We did stop at a few points on the tour, but the supplemental information and responses to our questions were very limited. There were several mixups - no safety helmuts delivered; some bikes not operating properly, Inconsistent and rushed instructions for the non-guided participants. Park was wonderful; bike ride was wonderful. Appreciated how Christine had all of stay hydrated and gave us blueberry fig bars for energy.
Great activity for a group!
Gerald_H, Jan 2023
We were a group of 12 and decided to meet at the bike shop instead of at the hotel on the strip (which we would recommend). Our driver Gavin was great! The unloading process took a little longer than it could have because another group arrived and needed help, but altogether it was beautiful & memorable. (If you go during the winter, BUNDLE UP!)

We had a great time even though it was windy and cold. It was beautiful and very enjoyable to speed fast down the hills.
Beautiful, but...
Summer_C, Dec 2022
The bike ride was absolutely beautiful! I did the self-guided option, but the tour guide picked us all up at the hotel and drove us to the canyon. The ride was actually very uncomfortable, because the guide (Kirk) was listening to the Joe Rogan podcast out loud for most of the drive. The podcast was very inappropriate and had multiple cuss words and racial slurs. This rubbed me the wrong way, and it was probably offensive to others on the bus. Other than that, I enjoyed my bike ride, though I wasn't given a map or much direction at all, so I could've taken a wrong turn in a few places or stayed out too long. The nature was so beautiful that I still consider it a good experience, but definitely had some issues with the tour guide.
Wonderful trip!
Bryan_N, Nov 2022
Great trip. Wonderful scenery. Bikes were so easy to ride with power assist. Gavin our guide was fun and knowledgeable. Bring warmer clothes in the winter months, it gets chilly.
Spectacular Red Rocks
Kenneth_B, Nov 2022
We had a great time on our ride. The e bikes worked like a charm, the views are spectacular, and our guide, Chris, was excellent. We even got to see a couple of tarantulas crossing the road since it was mating season. The only downside was the weather. Unfortunately it was windy and cool which made the down hill sections very cold. Even with gloves and head gear it was freezing. We did the afternoon ride and the last 5 miles are in the shadows from the adjacent mountains and the temp drops a great deal. It’s much cooler than the temp in Vegas. Overall a wonderful time even with the chill. I would highly recommend and make sure you ask for Chris!
Incredible
Jeannette_C, Nov 2022
At some point, staying on the Strip is too much. This is the place to come. Riding a bike amidst the rugged beauty is absolutely what we needed to get away from the crowds and commotion in the city. Gavin was super. Pickup was on time and he was patient and helpful. I had never ridden an e-bike and was also nervous since I don’t routinely ride bikes other than an exercise bike! We made multiple stops along the trip and he explained the area very well. This was my favorite excursion on this trip and I’d do it again. Hoping to see a wild donkey next time ;) If you do this in November, bring a pair of gloves and a jacket as it is windy and chilly.
Breathtaking

Great ride tour guide was great also Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice bike ride away from city
Two thumbs up!
Tracy_P, Oct 2022
Our guide Kirk was prompt, organized and friendly. He gave the group a sense of his large expertise of the tour and other future trips we could take. Yet he had a laid back friendly attitude. He was flexible with us and kept us safe. Will do this again for sure.
Very nice scenery
Lisa_C, Oct 2022
Christine was very sweet. She had to deal with a chain falling off and traffic but she did her best. The scenery is unbelievable on this 13 mile loop. Keep in mind, this is not mountain biking on trails. This was a paved road in a park. There are cars on the same road. I would suggest that the tour guide give a more detailed description of the course, what to expect, how to use electric bikes(we knew how but other guests didn’t). We were quite experienced so we broke off from the group and did more of a self Guided tour. I feel like Christine, as sweet as she is, needs some more experience as a guide as perhaps should be alongside another guide so if a chain falls off or a guest is slower that the rest, it doesn’t impact the whole tour. I hate to give bad reviews but I think the company should use two guides when there are guests of this varied experience.
