Our pilot, Alex, was extremely personable. He was knowledgeable about the tour, had a great song playlist during our flight, and even told us a few funny jokes! Taking off and landing were perfection. Couldn’t have asked for a better pilot for my first helicopter experience! In addition, the landscape was breathtaking!

Wow! I have always dreamed of seeing the Grand Canyon by air but I thought it wouldn't happen. My husband and other travel pals wouldn't be interested. So I had the opportunity go to Vegas with a friend and I was sure she would be all in(pun intended). However, she has a fear of heights. I am so glad that I didn't let that stop me!! Our pilot ,RJ, was great. He gave us great information, he had a great playlist, and his humor made the trip light. The views were stunning! When the canyon came into view, my eyes welled up. There isn't enough to say!! Do it for yourself!

Beautiful Views + “Wish I Knew…”

Pilot was great - balance of knowledge, sense of humor, and background music Sights - beautiful and clear skies allowed for breathtaking views Viator - as the company partners with a third party, the salesperson was unaware of the details and needed to call the vendor directly. (However, it should be noted that the staff at Viator were pleasant and had excellent customer service.) The excursion, unfortunately, is mostly the transportation to and from the Boulder City Airport. So, this excluded us from a limousine and luxury van pick-up. It also meant that the four-hour adventure was almost 70% in the shuttle van. I changed my flight itinerary because the staff at Viator understood and explained that I needed an additional 90 minutes before and after the trip. Rather, that time is part of the trip. That part was a disappointment. Lastly, our driver from the vendor sped a bit on the way back; so, parts of the drive felt as if we were experiencing an unsolicited off-road adventure. Maybe don’t sit in the back of the shuttle van.

The flight was very good but the tour doesn't include landing near the grand canyon. I was thinking it had because a comment but not. Ensure that when you book for better experience. The driver was very friendly.
