It was an amazing view of the Grand Canyon. The bus was convenient and we were provided packed lunch and paid breakfast and dinner options. I would say, the travel guide, Anna was very nice. She was humble and caring and very energetic. I just felt the time we got at the Canyon was a little less, but was just enough to have a good view of the natural wonder.

Great Tour!
Karen_C, Jun 2023
The awesomeness of the Grand Canyon is unrivaled. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The bus was clean and comfortable with amenities like a cup holder and electrical outlet. Made all the difference!
dishonest people, no discount my admitted mistake even though i notified them well before the bus left i wasn't there
Jason_K, Jun 2023
i booked this late at night a week early on accident. as soon as i found out early morning 3 hours before the bus left, i said and shared my plane tickets and that i wouldn't be there until the following week. neither viator nor the vendor did anything to help, not even a discount. so i didn't book it when i was actually here.. they said they could rescedule to the next day.. illogical since i shared my tickets i wouldn't arrive until the next week.. poor customer service from both parties

Long day on bus
Brenda_S, Jun 2023
First off, guide "sweet kate" is great. Her excitement makes the canyon experience even more fun. She is on ledge in picture posted here. Canyon is breath taking and definitely one of the 7 wonders of the world- bucket list to see. Now for con side: took us 8 hours to get to canyon with pick ups, stops etc. Then 1 & 1/2 hours actually in the canyon to explore, shop etc. It would have been really nice to have had up to 1 more hour there. We did not get to see a couple points that we would have liked. Instead of a 45 minute 2nd stop on way back for people to order food, time in the canyon would have been so much better. Total day was 17 hours, with only 90 minutes of actual canyon time.
Amazing day out

Bad experience
Evelin_E, Jun 2023
The tour guide was disastrous. This trip caused me trauma because of my mistake, the bus left me. They moved to another place because of an upgrade that was made. I am a tourist. I don't know anything about this place. She called me and said that it was far away and that they couldn't wait. 5 minutes later he sent me a map of where they were to get there, it was an hour and a half walking, they didn't pick me up, I had to look for someone on the street to take me to that place, which was 9 minutes by car, desperate and frustrated, I didn't even want to look at anything else, he guides them They are to help you while you are on the trip, although if they had charged me again to pick me up, I would pay for it, but it was not a good experience, God did not know what to do, I called her and she told me I want to help you, but you say you don't know anything, Of course I don't know anything. This site is new to me. It's not the company that's the problem, it's with the guide

The Viator siite lied about the pickup point
Ying_T, Jun 2023
Viator is misleading us at since the beginning by stating the pickup point would be at my hotel, but one night before departure, they told me the actual pickup point was at Horseshoe. This is what it said in the initial confirmation email: Tour start: Wednesday, May 31, 2023 6:00 AM, Pickup: The Signature at MGM Grand, The Signature at MGM Grand, East Harmon Avenue, Las Vegas, NV, USA It caught us by surprise before for the whole time we believe the pick up was at our hotel rather than Horseshoe, if the tour does not pick up at a certain hotel you should clearly state that at the website than lying to customers.

The switch was disappointing!!!
Carla_H, Jun 2023
First, let me be clear. Katie, the tour guide was EXCELLENT!! She kept our group right and tight! My issue is with the company. 2 days before my south rim small group tour was to take place, I received a message that the Mercedes Sprinter van was still in the shop!?? So we we’re switched over to the big bus tour with 50 other people! Which is exactly what I did not want!!! I wanted the small group, more intimate feel, not the big bus take forever to do everything tour! But with less than 48 hours before the tour was to happen I didn’t have time to cancel and research to find a suitable replacement. Big bus was hot and seats were uncomfortable! For 16 hours!!!
Little disappointed about itinerary but otherwise great
Jodi_H, May 2023
Very well organised and Kurty was a fun tour guide. Driver Cherie was very professional also. Highly recommend. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the itinerary had incorrect information about where we would be visiting and I booked the tour because it stopped there. Needs to be kept current
Excellent trip, especially for the price!
Kimberly_G, May 2023
Excellent trip - Curty was a great guide and our driver got us to and from the Strip safely - 550 miles!

Great
Balan_W, May 2023
The pick up point was not same as chosen by me whilst booking. It was changed to another point at very short notice. This happened the previous day too. Because of this I missed my booking on May 25, 2003. I was not informed of the change. So I have requested for full refund. I rebooked for May 26 paying full amount. The trip was awesome. Viator is a excellent reliable operator and i have used them before in Japan. So kindly give my full refund for the May 25 similar your which I missed due to no fault of mine.
Excellent tour run by Grand Canyon Destionations
Gladys_Y, May 2023
This tour run by Grand Canyon Destinations is excellent. They used a double decker bus with separate driver and tour guide. The double decker bus was very roomy and gave us a great view. The tour guide explained everything very clearly-the drop off and pick up points. We had an option to order dinner as the tour was quite long and everything was well communicated. Needless to say, the Grand Canyon views are unbelievably beautiful and this tour was comfortable and very well organized.
Canons Up Ready Fire
Kemar_B, May 2023
Curtis group was the best. Tour guide engaging and efficient. Bus was clean on-time and safe. Driver/s were helpful and carefully drove us to and from our destinations.
Great tour, worth every penny!
Sahitya_K, May 2023
The bus ride was comfortable and our guide Curtis was knowledgeable and tried to cheer up a dull crowd with regular commentary and jokes. Made stops/ slowed down to watch some of the small towns on route 66. For an additional $20 Curtis gave a guided tour of the Grand Canyon national park and took pictures for everyone as well. Made an extra stop very close to Vegas for dinner where we had to choose from the fixed menu. Would have rather preferred an early drop to Vegas instead where I could choose for myself.
Better than expected
Glenn_F, May 2023
Spectacular views, recommend seeing, better than expected, bus ride a bit long but definitely worth the time
Poor food
Lloyd_A, May 2023
Our guide Aiga was superb. Knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and fun. Breakfast was unappealing. I am sure better fpod providers are available. Lunch was average, nothing special. I almost gave 3 stars instead of 4 because of the food.
It was a nightmare
Letisia_d, May 2023
Made us be there at 5:20 AM but the bus arrived over 2 hours late. Made several stops for no reason on the way to the park. The guide encouraged the people to be late coming back to the bus. We returned to the hotel at midnight. Horrible experience
Response from Host, May 2023
Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your tour. We are happy that you had the opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon. We are sorry to hear about your tour being delayed. Unfortunately, we no longer operate our own buses due to the pandemic. We are a small family-owned business and we try to provide the best tours at the lowest cost and our goal is to make sure everyone enjoys our tours. As for the several stops on the way to the park, these are convenient stops for the passengers and the driver to get something to eat, drink, stretch their legs, or use the restroom. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and greatly appreciate your feedback as we value every passenger's opinion. Our sincere thanks for your understanding. I enjoyed the experience of the Grand Canyon. It was breath taking. I wish I could have seen more. I do plan to return. Hopefully my health will be better. However it was a great experience.
Epic adventure to the Canyon
Sarah_S, May 2023
A great trip, with an informative guide and refreshments too. Highly recommend! Whilst this is a long trip, leaving the strip around 6am and not returning until 9-10pm, it is worth it to see the sights - not only of the Grand Canyon, but also the Hoover Dam and Route 66 as well. We had regular contact from the company prior to departure about the pick up time and also the option to pre-order our lunch too. At pick up, as we got on the coach, we were provided with a breakfast bar, which was a lovely touch. Once on the coach, a breakfast menu was circulated so you had the option to have a hot cooked or continental breakfast (extra cost), which was picked up at Boulder City, where we collected our lunch as well. Our guide Kurt, was very informative about the towns we were passing through, providing history facts and pointing out interesting things to look out for. There was a brief stop on Route 66 for a rest break and a wander around a gift shop that had some quirky memorabilia. Once we got to the Grand Canton National Park, it was good to stretch our legs and enjoy the fresh air! It was around 1pm by the time we arrived and we had a good 3 hours to enjoy the Canyon. We opted not to take the extra guided walking tour, and instead walked along the 2.5mile path, along the edge of the canyon, which took us to the village area and where we would meet the coach again for pick. Plenty of time to take lots of pics, enjoy the view and browse the stores when we finished our hike. Even enjoyed a cheeky drink in the beer garden, before we got back on the coach for our return journey to Vegas. On the way back, movies were played on the screens - we managed to get 2 full movies, which helped pass the time. As the sun went down, we passed by the Hoover Dam. Whilst we were not stopping, we were still able to get some great pictures form inside the coach of the Dam lit up. At our final rest stop in Boulder City, there was an additional option to purchase some dinner too. Menu options were limited but the burger and fries were very good and filling. If you prefer not to opt for dinner, we did also stop at a Gas station prior to the boulder city stop off, where you can get snacks and drinks to keep you going. All in all, we had a fantastic day and would highly recommend it.
