Was an amazing site to see. The Skywalk was very cool. Wally our tour guide was very knowledgeable about many things along the way. The quick stop at the Hoover Dam was an added bonus. The time flies by so plan accordingly.

A long trip with long queues
Rona_A, Mar 2023
Bus was late. It was stressful not know where the pick up was . We were not on the list. I spent the day at the Grand Canton firstly queuing for the walk on the the glass Bridge...then queuing for lunch. Eventually we took the lunch in a take away box. We got expensive blurred pictures

Poor guide made for disappointing trip
Randy_K, Mar 2023
Sweet Tours picked us up at our hotel even though it wasn't listed as a pickup location. We unfortunately had a tour guide who chose to do things her own way, always saying it would save us time. We didn't get to see the Hoover Dam from the lookout which means we missed the most iconic view. She instead took us around the back which was okay but not what was on the trip description and not what we wanted to see. As we crossed the bridge on the way back she slowed down and told us to look out the right side of the bus for our only look at the Hoover Dam from the front. We were sitting on the left side so couldn't see much and couldn't get a picture without other peoples heads in the shot or window reflections. Most of her ramblings along the tour were uninteresting and useless information that had nothing to do with the trip. She would often tell us to look straight ahead. We were in the back of the bus and could never see what she was talking about. At every stop she lit up a cigarette. I would have preferred a dedicated driver and tour guide. She did give a lot of ideas of places to eat in Vegas but since it was our last day we were unable to check any of them out. The views of the Grand Canyon were good and well worth seeing especially if you have never been there before. The South rim is much better if you have the time and a full day to dedicate once you get there. A good guide would have made this a 5 star trip.
Good price for a large bus tour
Tami_W, Mar 2023
I book all of my tours based off of reviews so I always feel compelled to return the favor by writing an honest review myself, and as much as I hate to not give 5 stars, there were just a few things about this tour that led me to not give an above average review. The destination is absolutely beautiful and I must say .. this tour was a good value for what you do and see. This is a large bus tour, and the company does a good job of communicating and navigating the hotel pick up with so many people but as expected with any large group tour, you will sit on the bus an extended period of time while other participants are picked up and dropped off. We expected this so we chose the Luxor as our pick up/drop off spot to avoid the extra bus time. We purchased the lunch and Overlook upgrade package. Be advised that you can NOT take photos on the glass overlook at Eagle Point. They will take photos for you for an additional charge .. but honestly we found that experience underwhelming. The regular views were just as breathtaking at that location. Lunch was a complete nightmare. The lines were insane. Sweet Tours had four busses and 200 people on just their tours alone that day .. and our bus was always last, therefore we always had at least 150+ people in line in front of us everywhere (not to mention all the other tour busses!) so at both locations we stood in food lines (never did get food at the first stop) and didn’t get time to explore the area, hike or shop … because we spent 2 hours just trying to redeem our food voucher. Frustrating because it seems Sweet Tours should have known just their tour groups alone would create such long lines. We wished we hadn’t purchased the lunch vouchers so we could just go to the shorter lines and purchased our own lunch. Disappointing to go all the way to the Grand Canyon just to stand in lines instead of enjoying the beauty of the canyon. We ended up having to eat on the bus because we didn’t even have time to eat our food in the allotted time. In addition, our bus driver was very nice and got us there and back safely .. but he was very slow, which left us behind all the other busses and at the end of the lines at every stop. Another friend was on one of the other busses and they actually got home almost two hours earlier than us. Not a huge deal since it was all we planned for that day, but it did make for a LONG day. You will also be given a tour guide .. and ours was a bit snarky and made multiple sarcastic comments to passengers who didn’t hear his instructions and were confused about bus pick up locations, etc. He also mentioned his tip MULTIPLE times throughout the trip (including how much we should each tip him) and he pointed out the ATM at the last rest stop to be sure everyone had cash for him. 🙄 Very tacky in my opinion and it actually made me want to tip him less. Nonetheless - the Canyon and Hoover Dam are beautiful. The bus was clean and tour company communicated well. Good value for the price.
Amazing

Grand Canyon trip

Our host, ken, was very entertaining, jolly and knowledgeable about Las Vegas and Nevada, Patrick our driver was very careful, out trip vas smooth. Though the trip going back to the hotel was killer because of the marathon. Over all it was a good service, will recommend you guys, thanks
Needs serious improvement

I wanted to give a great review. They were so attentive to ensure I was able to find the location of the boarding point for the tour. It just was not a great experience. The bus for the 11 hour day did not offer USB changing. Its an 11 hour day. You need charging stations! I liked a lot of the commentary of the tour guide. The day I visited the West Rim was chilly with very strong gusty winds. Our first stop was Eagle Point. The guide advised us the food at Guano Point was better than Eagle Point. I caught the shuttle to Guano point and visited the restaurant. After selecting my food I asked the staff about seating. They only offer outdoor seating. Keep in mind there were strong wind warnings. Ice covered the whole area. The winds were lifting umbrellas. I think a heads up about outdoor only seating would have been welcomed. The second issue arouse when two of the travelers did not get on the bus at departure time. We had been sitting on the bus for a while. Two of us requested turning on the heat while we waited. The guide said we would loose the heat when the door was opened. WE SAT ON THE UNHEATED BUS FOR 1 1/2 HOURS. There has to be a better option than holding 46 people on an unheated bus for an hour and a half. I give a shout out to our driver who drove on ice and through high winds. I won’t say I would tell people to stay away from the company but they need to find a solution to forcing people to wait 1 1/2 hours on a cold bus.
