What To Expect

Located on the Strip, the High Roller is hard to miss at a formidable 550 feet (167 meters) tall―beating out the London Eye as the biggest observation wheel in the world.

When you arrive, head for the boarding area; bring your ticket and your ID to prove that you're 21 or older.

Once you get in your luxurious climate-controlled pod, sit back as you ascend into the sky. Hit the full bar for unlimited drinks during your 30-minute ride. Survey the desert landscape as it shimmers day and night with neon lights and reflective buildings. During your ride, an amusing audio tour covers the history of Las Vegas, perfectly timed to point out the area's landmarks as they appear during the rotation.

After you disembark, the adventure doesn't have to be over. The High Roller puts you in the center of Las Vegas' LINQ, a lively promenade featuring bars, shops, and restaurants. Start by browsing the Sky Shop for some souvenirs of your time in the sky. Hungry? Hit Flour & Barley for some brick oven pizza, and follow it up with dessert at Sweet Sin.

The LINQ Promenade

The observation wheel happens to be situated smack in the center of Las Vegas’ most fun entertainment quarter, The LINQ. Enjoy 'grab and go'' seafood from Gordon Ramsay Fish abd Chips or munch on upscale Mexican fare at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar. Not hungry? Head to the Brooklyn Bowl to knock down some pins, or browse a variety of shops in the area.

High Roller

There's happy hour on the Strip, and then there's happy hour above the Strip. Hop in an climate-controlled pod and enjoy access to a full bar for the entire 30-minute revolution. The only thing you have to bring besides your ticket? Proof that you're 21 years old or older. Drink in hand, admire the neon-lit landscape as a recording of a witty narrator shares trivia about the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower). After the ride, browse in the Sky Shop for a reminder of your spin through Sin City’s celestial skies in the form of commemorative glassware or a tiny version of the High Roller itself. Last ride departs at 11:30pm.

    Brett the barman was funny informative and entertaining. He helped to make a great experience even better. The pods were clean, safe and warm with 360 views of Vegas. The views were fabulous and was a great way of getting your bearing for your vegas experience. The boozy experience was value for money.

    Great experience! We were able to get on with very little waiting about 7pm. Tried to catch the sunset but we were a little late. The bartender Nick was awesome! Only about 10 people in our car so he was able to take really good care of everyone. Highly recommend!

    I pre-purchased tickets to surprise my family on our arrival night to Vegas. I didn't tell them what we were doing until we were at the Linq promenade. Their initial reaction was "the ferris wheel?" Oh, but it turned out so much more than that. We got in our pod shortly after 11pm. This was simple. No lines. Fast. Our pod came to the platform for us to get on and go, go, go. It does not stop. It does not wait for you. When we got on, Jose, our bartender, was there to greet us. I had hoped we would have a pod for just us, and we lucked out and we did. "The kids" (all over 21) took this opportunity to try out a few drinks. Jose had great recommendations. A lot of great views. A lot of pictures. A lot of memories, a LOT of drinks! I also appreciate Jose's attention to levels if consumption and intoxication. One of the boys towards the end of the experience Jose let know this was his last round. He did not feel comfortable continuing to pour for the lad (which was accepted as a badge of honor. He was proud to be cut off in Vegas on his first night). This was the perfect way to start our trip. Will STRONGLY recommend this to anyone in the future looking for an activity to do. I promise you, you will leave feeling like you got your money's worth!

    We were supposed to see the city of Las Vegas and the beautiful lights on the High Roller ferris wheel with the Happy Hour anytime deal which included a bar inside the bubble. It was only for 30 minutes and the bubble did not move. We started out looking at Ellis Island outside and didnt move. We only got 2 drinks and a shot because it was my husbands birthday or else it would have only been 2 drinks. I would not recommend this to anyone, ever.

    We did this one evening as part of our honeymoon. It was fun and we'd do it again, but it also wasn't the 'BEST EXPERIENCE EVER' so go in knowing what to expect. They have you take these awkward green screen photos prior to loading the High Roller and do them in such a hurry, the photos don't turn out the greatest. I'd much prefer they take one single nice photo rather than 5 awkward "look to your left and look scared' dumb poses. They also tend to overload the Happy 1/2 Hour pods and you have 30 minutes to drink as much as you want. We went for just a nice evening view of the strip and to have a drink or two. We were loaded with 2 large parties that were there to get wasted and start their evenings of debauchery. They clustered in the best photo spots for picture after picture and ran the bartender ragged, not allowing us enough time to order more than 2 drinks. It'd be nice if they would load large parties by themselves and allow others who are there to have fun but not get drunk to be a smaller group. The groups we were with also ordered multiple drinks right up to the point of stepping off the roller....literally yelling multiple drink orders to the bartender as the doors were opening. I believe there were 15 people in our pod; 8 in one group, 5 in another, and then my husband and I. Like I said, if they just took a moment to ask people how many people were in their party and limit the number to closer to 10 or 12 per pod, it would be much more enjoyable.
