Lovely Day in Lavaux

Marc was a wonderful host and guide through Lavaux’s wine country. He was very thorough in coordinating and preparing us ahead of time, and we learned so much through his vast knowledge and experience of wine and this region! The views and the wine were amazing. Marc was an awesome tour guide! He led us on a hike through the vines explaining the local process thoroughly. He shared all kinds of additional information about Switzerland and handled all our questions with ease. Towards the end of the tour we got to sample several local wines and a snack and have a delightful conversation and learn even more about wine. This was an experience we won’t forget and we highly recommend.

Marc is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide! He communicated every step of our day, in advance, to make it seamless and stress free. We had info on which train to take and when, AND what to expect, AND how to prepare. Upon arrival, Marc met us at the train with a smile and started our day with fantastic story telling and FABULOUS wine. We had ample opportunity to learn , ask questions, soak in AMAZING scenery, and drink great wine. Marc is a true story teller- charismatic, fun, and so knowledgeable. I have some wine knowledge/certifications and he was able to speak to both my MIL and I in an exciting way, where we were both able to learn and grow at different knowledge levels. We developed an appreciation for this area/appellation. Marc continued to go out of his way to make our day simple and carefree as we went on, and we are so thankful. As an example, he held our purchased wine as we explored. Thoughtful and unexpected. He continued to help us through our next adventure- delivering us to the next train with thorough instructions to Montreaux. Don’t be deterred by the “cool” weather of March/April. It was quiet, educational, and felt very special/customized/private! Marc is definitely your guide. His enthusiasm for Swiss wine and knowledge can’t be skipped! Have a great day in the vines!

Mar was a fantastic guide and so knowledgeable. We were able to taste some grapes since they were ripe and ready to use. The wine tastings were great! It was a challenging walk/climb but we’ll worth it!

A must do if you want to experience walking around Lavaux and tasting wine. We met Marc at the train station and started walking on the wine trail where he began sharing so much information about the grapes, harvest, and wine production in the region. We stopped for some views and tastes of wine and cheese before continuing on. We finally stopped at a vineyard for a full tasting with some cheese/meat snacks. Marc was so knowledgeable and so much fun. He was a great host and so incredibly helpful. Definitely recommend this tour

Our Wine Walk with Marc was probably the most fun we had on a tour during our trip to Switzerland earlier this month. He was a blast to spend time with - great sense of humor, knowledgeable about the region (and the wine), and just generally fun to be around. The views were great, the wine and snacks were delicious, and we learned a bunch! Marc has an open invitation to hang out with us the next time he's in Nashville :-) Highly recommend this tour!
