Traveler Tips

It is a lot colder on the cliffs because of the wind - so dress warmly, otherwise you'll be buying hats and scarf from the lovely gift shop.
minutes at the Burren is adequate, but 20 minutes at Bunratty Castle seemed a bit meager.

Unpleasant driver
Danny_C, Sep 2023
When we went to ask if it was the correct bus the bus driver was an unpleasant man. He barked at us and claimed he needed his nicotine before he would respond. We got on the very packed stale bus with the driver smoking at the open door and decided we did not want to stay so got off and drove the trip ourselves which was a much more pleasant experience.

A very windy day made it a very fun adventure! Only recommendation would be to improve and expand the music reel
Not as advertised and ultimately disappointing
Emily_P, Sep 2023
Although the bus driver was great, this tour was NOT what was advertised. The tour specifically states that after the Cliffs, the group would visit Doolin for an hour-long stop where we could opt to get lunch. We did not do this. Instead, we flipped to visit the Burren first, and then stopped for a somewhat forced lunch at a cafeteria in some other town, with no leisurely visit to the town- just 25 minutes to get our food and eat it. We had a 45-minute stop at Bunratty Castle, which was far too short to actually visit, while being far too long of a "photo stop." The real reason for that stop was clearly to switch passengers who had a different end destination to a different bus. It also states that we will return at approximately 5pm, but we were dropped off nearly an hour before that, at about 4pm. The whole day felt rushed, and as someone who has previously visited Doolin and was excited to return, it was especially disappointing. A note: we also had major fog the whole time we were at the Cliffs and could not see further than the first one. I don't at all blame them for the weather, but if they can just switch around the tour to remove an entire town, why can't they switch it to go to the Burren and along the Wild Atlantic Way before visiting the Cliffs in the afternoon, once the fog is gone?
Great

Jimmy was a really nice driver/guide. The 3 stops were really great and we had enough time. The restaurant was good and had vegan options.
Great Day

Our Driver and tour guide Jamie was a excellent driver and provided interesting commentary throughout the day. Plenty of time to see the cliffs. We also visited the baby cliffs and the burren and had a lunch stop at a restaurant with lots of choices for all. A short final stop at Bunratty were you could shop, have an ice cream and use the toilets. We enjoyed the scenic Views from the bus between the stops. Good value for the money and I would recommend to anyone who wants a stress free way to see the cliffs of Moher.

Loved walking up to the top of the cliff’s. the view was breathtaking. The information centre was informative
Moore time at the cliffs
Sue_B, Aug 2023
Had a nice time but would have liked a longer time at the Cliffs of Moher in order to walk both sides and not stop at the last tourist trap.
well worth doing
Antony_L, Aug 2023
wonderful trip well organised very good informative driver and good stops to get decent pictures , despite the weather it was a lovely day out
special,single man, friendly
Haoran_W, Aug 2023
The ride to the cliffs was a bit bumpy and I got a bit seasick. It was my problem that I misheard the meeting time when I was not in a very comfortable state. Then when I arrived at the appointed place without seeing the bus, I was very scared and helpless. Josh (the tour guide) later contacted me and helped me to rejoin the tour, thank you to him and to the tourists who were so accommodating to me. A very special trip, I was alone and got to experience the unique scenery of Ireland and the friendly and accommodating hearts of everyone. Thanks again!
Irish eyes not smiling on us today.

The coach arrived on time (we were picked up in Limerick with the Tour staring in Cork). Brian, our guide & driver provided a history of events, places etc along the route. Unfortunately, the weather was abysmal with the rain coming in sideways and the wind howling like a banshee which gave little time to walk to the cliff face for photos. Got totally drenched. Two days earlier my daughter and son-in-law did a similar Tour with a perfect sunny day-oh well, that's Ireland in summer. A sour point was the way in which Brian mentioned on more than one occasion that a tip of 10% of our tour cost was expected. Upon Tour end in Limerick he quite strongly announced that "nothing was to be left on the bus apart from the gratuity of 10% of our Tour ticket". As a mature Australian, I do not need to be told of what to do in such circumstances. Maybe Brian's gravelly voice made the matter a bit more intense than what was intended however, the intent was certainly very clear. A little lighter perhaps Brian.
Perfect taste of Ireland

Our guide to was informative and funny, but also just let us take in the sights with Celtic music playing as he drove. Perfect day and on time!!
An hour late
Susan_S, Jun 2023
Though the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren were awesome (in good weather), the bus was an hour late. Therefore, we skipped several castles we were supposed to visit, and cut other visits short. The driver also didn't tell much about the area. He sang nicely though.
Wonderful!

Wonderful tour, so beautiful, comfortable, had a picture perfect weather day and wonderful lunch. Met amazing people. The tour guide was great. I highly recommend!
Easy way to get to see the cliffs of Moher, and a few interesting photo spots.
Emmanuel_B, Jun 2023
We had a lovely time with our guide John. We first drove to the cliffs of Moher were there is some time for a walk/climb (involving quite a few sets of stairs, but there are some alternatives for people who can't handle the climb), and pictures. Very windy. We then had a great meal (not provided, but the restaurant were we stopped is nice and prices are reasonable). The rest of the tour was mostly driving and stopping for pictures along the way, but our guide was entertaining and shared a few tales from Ireland as he was driving. Great experience for a good introduction to Ireland.
Poor tour operation, awesome destinations
Robert_H, Jun 2023
Excellent tour leader, cliffs were stunning. However, pick up was over 40 minutes late, bus was very very hot. Stops were not as advertised. Would not recommend paddy wagon tours, but highly recommend the places visited
Good trip

Missed that we did not stop in Burro, had loved a foto down at the water front with the stone surfaces. Besides that, good trip.
Very well organized tour. Everything was on schedule

cliffs of moher experience
Harry_L, Jun 2023
Cliffs. Beautiful views from the pathways. Well worth the money spent. Very nice meal at the break location. For what you pay, it's a good value, considering you don't have to drive. Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining
Great tour!
Christine_V, Jun 2023
