Depending on where your ship docks, your driver will either be waiting on the dock as close to your ship as possible. If there are two gangplank exits he will stand in the centre of both. Or your driver will be waiting after the new passenger terminal that you will have to walk through. He will be holding a sign with your name on it.

Great way to see the sites and learn the history

This was a great way to see the area in a short period of time. Our tour guide, Laura, was right on time to pick us up and drop us off at our cruise ship port in Livorno. She was very knowledgeable about the area and the history and helped us decide what we wanted to see for sure (and what we had time to see). She took us Pisa and then to several of the sites in Florence. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to see the original David statue because it was the first Sunday of the month which is a free museum Sunday (so the lines were too long.) But she took us to many other interesting and historical sites.

Our tour guide Laura was amazing! She was an incredible tour guide and very caring as well. My husband injured his leg a few days before the tour and she went out of her way to find ice for him at every stop. She asked us about our specific interests and made it possible to visit so many places on our full day tour. We did not think we could fit in a winery tour and tasting, but she made it happen I cannot say enough wonderful things about the tour and our guide!!!

We had a wonderful day with Giovanni! He took us around Florence, made sure we got our tickets for the Academia Gallery and Duomo tour, and that we were there on time. He took us to all the other important sites, showed us where to have lunch and had some pizza with us at the end of the day at Sophia Lauren’s restaurant. Gio could not have been more considerate or helpful. Perfect day, highly recommend going with Giovanni!

Cristiano was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable about the area and was able to personalize our visit to see what we wanted to see and getting us back to the ship on time. His recommendation for a restaurant to have lunch was excellent. Cristiano also provided cold water bottles.

We had a great time. Enjoyed the leaning tower. It was important to get tickets separately and to do it early as we had a big group. Set a calendar reminder when you are however many days out and they open up ticket sales. Maybe 20 days out?

Laura made our experience so perfect in every way! She was there to greet us with a warm welcome when we departed our ship and was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about every detail of our adventure! Both Florence and Pisa are beautiful and amazing and even better than the pictures! Laura made us feel relaxed and we never felt rushed. We learned so many stories and lots of history about the region from Laura. This excursion was the best one we took during our 8 day cruise! We can’t wait to return to the Tuscan region some day to get to enjoy the beauty, culture, shops, restaurants and history more thoroughly. Wonderful memories were made!

A great day in Florence and Pisa

I highly recommend this excursion. I found the company easy to work with and excellent at communicating with me as we planned how to spend the day and secure tickets to the Accademia. Our driver guide was Mauro and he was excellent. The van was clean and comfortable and he was provided a lot of information about the places we went. He knew how to best use our time and gave us a good overview of Florence as well as some free time to sightsee, shop and grab a bite to eat. He was very helpful at the Accademia - they were running behind and there were large crowds and it was pretty chaotic. He got the tickets we had preordered and stayed with us until we were in the correct line to enter. We really appreciated that. We ended the day with a short visit to Pisa. I was so glad we did! Seeing the Leaning Tower is so much better than I imagined. Overall this was an excellent day. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

Christiano was our driver for the day. He gave us lots of options, and scheduled driving to meet our scheduled museum times. He was very diligent about getting us to Lisa and Florence and to see what we wanted to all while being on time. He had water and umbrellas for us when it rained. Very attentive and just a joy of a person to talk to. Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic. Our guide Nikoletta was charming, knowledgeable and super accomodating. She drove us right into the centre of Florence, skipping past all the crowds and even arranged coffee and lunch for us at some of her favourite places. Highly recommended!

We had a great day with Cristiano. We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked but that was because we were on a cruise and had limited port time. Rome was about 75 minutes from the port. Cristiano made sure that we saw the sites we were interested in and accommodated all 6 of us.

I must say, this was an excellent tour for my husband and I. Our tour guide was Alessandro, and he was absolutely delightful. He picked us up from the cruise terminal and had a sign with our name. The vehicle was a beautiful, clean Mercedes van. It was raining that day, but Alessandro provided umbrellas to make sure we stayed dry and comfortable. After our time in Pisa, we went to Florence where the tickets for the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell'Accademia were waiting. The beauty was breathtaking. Alessandro was very informative, polite, and so charming and kind. He also took us to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and Santa Croce Square. We also went to Michelangelo’s Square Lookout. Our pictures are beautiful and our memories will live with us forever. Thank you, Alessandro and Lucca Limo for making our day one that we will remember for years to come!

We booked this tour for our family of 8 for a port stop in Livorno. From beginning to end, Luccalimo tours exceeded our expectation. We received an email confirmation immediately with an informational guide about Pisa and Florence and the company worked with us via email to develop a customized tour that fit our interests. They also helped us make advance reservations for entry to L'Accademia which was extremely helpful. We received a final confirmation the day before the tour with the name of our wonderful driver/guide, Roberto, and instructions on where to meet him. Roberto was on time and waiting for us when we got off the ship and had a car seat ready as per our request. He had incredible knowledge of Pisa and Florence which he shared with us in each area we visited. Roberto had a wealth of practical and helpful suggestions to make our visits to Pisa and Florence more efficient and economical. We took the suggestion of the company to enter Florence by driving through the mountains and Chianti vineyards which afforded lovely views of the Tuscan countryside (as opposed to just freeway views). Roberto would take us to each place we were interested in seeing and give us free time to explore on our own, while keeping in contact with us through text or WhatsApp, and he would be waiting for us at the agreed spot when we were ready to move on. Roberto had a wonderful recommendation for lunch as well. The best part was that Roberto shared some of his own personal olive oil pressed from his olive trees--a special souvenir to take home and remember our perfect day in Florence and Pisa! We really couldn't have asked for an easier or better experience.

This was an awesome tour and our guide was prepared with tickets for us to enter attractions/museums even if we were not. He also made recommendations for a lunch restaurant which turned out to be delicious. It was a very enjoyable day.
