Could not have asked for a better tour. Simone picked 3 of us up on time. He was where the other pivate tour operators were located and he had a sign with my name on it. Simone was a local from Pisa and he explained to us the history of Pisa. Unfortunately, it rained the day we went to Pisa, and Simone had umbrellas for each of us, even though we had rain jackets and rain pants to help us stay dry. He never left us wondering where he would be. He parked the Mercedes van in a location that was convenient and easy to find. Once we completed our visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa (stayed as long as we wanted), we were off to the country side of Tuscany headed to Florence. We stopped at the Plaza that overlooked Florence for some unbelievable pictures and sites. Next we headed to the city of Florence. First stop was to see the Statue of David. Lucky for us there was free entrance to the Statue and once again, Simone made sure we knew how to get into the museum and then said, the car will be at this location when we were finished. Next stop was Florence. We had about 3 1/2 hours in the city. We were hungry by this point and Simone told us about a very nice restaurant in Florence which we walked to. It was fabulous and the 3 of us had a wonderful lunch with no complaints. Then we went on our own walking Florence, going into the various leather shops as well as the other shops that Florence had to offer. This is an absolutely beautiful city. We came back to the car about 3:45 PM for our journey back to the Livorno cruise port. Arriving at 5:00 PM. The tour lasted for 9 hours and as I said earlier, it could not have been better. I would highly recommend Special Tours NCC when you arrive to Tuscany. Very professional, timely, and knowledgeable. Thank you, Simone.

Our driver was fabulous, & did an amazing job of catering to the needs of our group of four! He made arrangements for lunch, based on our special needs, stopped for pics, was timely, pleasant & fun!! We highly recommend this tour..we loved each and every part of it!

Fantastic private tour of Pisa & Florence

Overall an excellent tour of Pisa and Florence. He was prompt, considerate and enthusiastic. He customized the tour to our needs. We enjoyed not the tour locations but the conversation about history and the Tuscan region of Italy. Simone picked us up from port as instructed at 8:30am (reached out to me the day before via email to confirm details). In a Mercedes minivan, he took us to Pisa Immediately next to the monument area and gave us guidance on time and items to see. Next we went to Florence. On the way he shared information about the Tuscany region of Italy and the country in general. On arrival in the city, he first took us to see an excellent view of Florence and gave us time to enjoy the area. Then we visited the Duomo, Cathedral and Ponte Vecchio by foot. My mom had difficulty walking and Simone took us as close to the area as allowed. He set up time for pick up. Over the next 3.5-4 hour we ate, walked around the monuments and admired the statues. He dropped us off to port shortly after 5pm. I highly recommend him for a private group tour. The minivan can take you closer to the major spots than a large bus.

Fantastic Florence and Pisa

We were lucky to paired with our driver Stefano. Our ship was delayed arriving in port and Stefano made sure we still got to our tours of the Accademia and Uffuzi galleries on time. He was excellent in getting right to the exact spots we needed to be and took the time to pull over and take some special family pictures for us. Highly recommend booking this tour!

My husband and I did this Florence/Pisa tour from the Livorno cruise port, plus a visit to a Tuscan winery the first week of May 2022. We had a BLAST. Simone was our guide, we couldn't have asked for a better guide or a better experience. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, we had such a great experience! If you are considering booking this tour, just go ahead and do it, you won't regret it!

Our driver, Drago, was waiting to meet us as we exited the cruise ship. He drove us to Pisa and then Florence. Drago was knowledgeable, he had a happy demeanor, and he provided a memorable tour. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and could easily hold 7 passengers. This was a great tour experience and I would highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was from Pisa and was able to give us extra color and information on the city. The trip to Florence took about an hour and again our driver cam through with great food recommendations and took us to the outdoor leather market. Thank you for a great time!
