What To Expect

Meet your guide at the departure location near Lambeth North station to chose your bike and get ready for your tour. Your guide will escort you along the riverside, down side roads and alleyways through central London. Stop along the way to admire the amazing engineering achievement of the London Eye and hear the story of Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament.

Continuing along the river, cross Lambeth Bridge and cycle past the small red brick houses that line the streets. Pass through the courtyard of Westminster School – from which you can admire the belfry of Westminster Abbey – then over to St. James Park, and Buckingham Palace. Afterward, head back to central London, where you'll walk through Trafalgar Square before cycling to Covent Garden.

Take a break to watch some street theater in the market piazza before getting back on the bikes. Your ride takes you through London's legal district and over to the colorful Smithfield's Market.

Finally, stop for a look at St. Paul's Cathedral and then cross the Thames River heading south back to the starting point.

Ollie was a phenomenal tour guide!! He was very knowledgeable of the city and covered all the highlights in a very engaging manner. He was very personable and enrolled all the riders in the dialogue effectively. He made London come alive with his stories. An absolutely delightful tour, great afternoon spent outdoors with a fun and lively group.

Birgit was a capable, knowledgeable, funny leader. We got to see the Trooping of the Colour up close. We rode through Banksy Tunnel and a few hidden spots that you would never find on foot!
Fun Bike Tour with Chris

This was a wonderful bike tour. What a great way to see many of the major sites of London! I am an almost 50 year old mom and took 2 young adults with me, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was Chris and he was a complete professional and also very fun and animated. In the days since the tour, my kids commented multiple times on how much they enjoyed Chris and the tour.

We were excited for our London bike tour . It was just ok . Our guide gave us the bare minimum of anecdotes and information ,in a thick German accent barely audible . Hardly pointing out the sites as we passed through. When we took a break half way through she had us stop at what seemed like the seediest part of the tour. This was surprising to the entire group considering the charming neighborhoods we passed through . When we stopped the guide took the time to grab and coffee to stay and roll a hasheesh cigarette in front of all the teenagers , which I felt was inappropriate . It was a waste of time in an unimportant spot . All of the bikers stood there just waiting for her . Even after I asked to move on , she refused and insisted we stay there . When we continued on my daughters and I decided to cut our losses and head back . She was easy about it . The tour would have been great with a better guide. The bikes were in good condition and the route was interesting . I would not book with her again .

I and my teenagers enjoyed it! Our guide, George, explained the places and the history in details and patiently. He also cared for our safety. We covered a lot of places and history in 4 hours! Love it !

Our guide was excellent. I forgot his name but he said he was originally from Catalonia. He made sure no one was left behind and reminded us about safety. He was very knowledgeable about British history and even gave us bonus information about new developments in London. The weather was not perfect (actually typically London weather) but we enjoyed the four hour tour. This was our fifth bike tour around Europe because we have been on holidays for five weeks and London was our last stop. The London bike tour did not disappoint.

Not worth the time or money

More of a walking with your bike tour. Not really the fault of the tour company, but London in the summer is just to busy to really bike through - especially in a large group. If you want to see the city + get a bit of workout in the Hop-On/Hop-Off would be a better use of time. Four hours (from 10am-2pm) is a long time as well.
