Andy was an excellent guide and driver as well. This van is state of the art,comfortable and roomy. Andy was always concerned about his customers comfort and that they get the most out of this tour. He is knowledgeable and funny and informative and I learned so much from this tour. I always wish for more time at the sites but it is a long day so be prepared for it with snacks, they provide water and will give you bathroom breaks. I recommend with confidence this tour and company.

Andy was an excellent guide and driver as well. This van is state of the art,comfortable and roomy. Andy was always concerned about his customers comfort and that they get the most out of this tour. He is knowledgeable and funny and informative and I learned so much from this tour. I always wish for more time at the sites but it is a long day so be prepared for it with snacks, they provide water and will give you bathroom breaks. I recommend with confidence this tour and company.

Cara! Her professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm made a day of torrential rain wonderful. Stratified, Stowe, Bibury, the Cotswolds and Oxford are all fabulous but the torrential rain that pursued us all day would have made us want to return home…if it hadn’t been for Caràs caring and enthusiasm. She’s a gem. So was this excursion.

Tony was an excellent guide. However it was too long. We were gone almost 12 hours with less than an hour in Stratford upon Avon. Still nice to see where Shakespeare was born and buried.

We always allocate an hour at least on the ground in Stratford - as well as a visit to Holy Trinity church where Shakespeare is buried, and as well as a guided panoramic tour of the town - so you would have had considerably more than an hour there. Our guide, Andy Sawyer, gave very good narrative and colored the trip with information. The route was well thought out and he did well to get us to the towns and drop is at relevant points.

This was an amazingly well organized day trip from London. Our guide and driver Andy was fantastic guiding us through the highlights of Stratford, creating stops in 2 Cotswold towns, and finally leading us on an informative walking tour through Oxford. The company is a small outfit called The English Bus. Our coach was a small Mercedes minivan that was quite comfortable with an open roof bed usb charging stations. Long but absolutely wonderful day. We highly recommend!

Tony was a fabulous guide. He was so knowledgeable about all the sites we went to . Both my husband and I felt our trip thru the Cotswolds was most memorable. The scenery was beautiful and the villages so unique. We were able to see the village of Warwick and Morton on the Marsh and Stow on the Wall. We were able to explore Bibury with its row houses. . I had seen photos of this area and it was so exciting to actually be there and have time to explore on our own.

We had an amazing tour guide, explained everything in details. We got actually to live the experience from his wonderful view. A very convenient trip, we didn't feel the distance, because of the interesting details around. I would recommend this trip to anyone who's fond of rural areas and exploring new places.

As you know this kind of tour involves takes up lots of driving time, and introductory visits are only possible at each site. Because of how the Tour company managed, this was one of the best such tours we’ve experienced. Tour guide Johny Davies is simply fantastic—knowledgeable, conveyed excellent and unique information non stop, very humorous, very considerate. Made it a personal experience for each of the 10 passengers. I can’t speak highly enough of him. Wish him and his lovely wife (who he lovingly spoke of and clearly adores) all the best. Great van/bus with a luxury feel. Johny was an excellent driver. Because of the small vehicle size, he was able to take us on local roads where larger tour buses are not allowed. This is necessary in order to truly see and feel Cotswold villages. Also, Unlimited chilled water bottles was a perfect touch. Sites are all nice. Great walking tours from Johny. We were lucky that the unique weeping church with Shakespeares tomb was open for visit! Free church entry but there was £4 fee to see his tomb. Cotswolds visit has two short stops and lots of scenic driving. For Oxford visit, there is time allocated to get food/dinner, but be aware that the area pub’s service is very slow.

I read many of the reviews about this one day trip and decided to give it a go since the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford-on Avon are areas I wanted to visit--and, best of all, offered in a small group. I can honestly say, the day was 'magical' and I attribute this to "ANDY" , truly, the very best guide out there I've ever had. As someone mentioned in a review, he is an encyclopedia of history and knowledge. I can't say enough about how much he enhanced my trip with his knowledge and safe driving. Our small group (I think 12) was just perfect and everyone agreed the trip was a highlight of our travels in Europe. A 5 star isn't enough to rate the trip. It should be 100+ stars and I've taken several Viator tours. We saw a lot and we were were tired at the end of the best touring day ever, but always smiling and enjoying every minute of the day. I most definitely plan to seek out more tours in the future with this small bus company because I felt I got the best value. Clean bus, complementary water all day, superb schedule and guide. Can't say enough positive and absolutely nothing negative in any way. Thanks a million Andy! You rock! Can't say enough wonderful things about you!

We enjoyed the entire tour, but we particularly enjoyed the walking tour with Tony through Oxford. The backroads drive through the Cotswold countryside was also a lot of fun.

Great tour! Would definitely do it again. Pickup was on time and punctual, all stops had ample time and were at good locations. The only downside at all was the bus was a bit tight for people of a larger size such as us.

This trip was a really good way to see the countryside of England and to get out of the city. The group was a small one and our tour guide, Andy, was cheerful and informative. He gave us the option of walking around on our own or staying with him to hear the stories. We all stayed and were entertained with tales of grisly English history. The stops were beautiful and I could have stayed in each place for a day or more on their own. In all, the tour was well worth the price and I am very glad to have gone.

There was so much history, culture and nature to take in. The tour guide was informative, friendly and very helpful. The group was friendly and social. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. You get a lot more value than what you pay. Hope to take more tours with this group.

Five star tour. Loved it, small enough to be personalised but professional and a comfy drive. Our guide Johnny was so knowledgeable and a funny lad too, this is a great way to see a few places in a short time. Highly recommend x
