Half in English / half in Mandarin.

The tour was fine but was half in Mandarin. That meant half the tour was not understandable. It really was distracting and we wouldn’t have sign up for this tour had we known.

Disappointment at Windsor

This tour did not provide nearly enough time for a meaningful visit to Windsor Castle, which was a real disappointment. The tour group spent 1 of the alloted 2 hours waiting in the entry and security lines despite being one of the first tour groups to arrive. Then we faced a long line as we tried to enter the state apartments. We really only had time to visit St. George Chapel before we had to get back to the bus. We felt less rushed at Stonehenge and Oxford.

Where do I start? First of all, we booked this tour after doing extensive research about visiting the Bodleian Library at Oxford and Windsor Castle. We chose dates in which both venues would be available to tour. The tour operator rescheduled our tour a week before. The new date ended up being on a day in which both venues were closed to visitors. This was super disappointing because we are librarians and history nuts. On the morning of the tour we arrived at the bus station 45 minutes early with printed vouchers in hand. There were no signs indicating which bus was operating which tour. We stopped at each bus (there were about a dozen buses) and asked each tour guide if we were at the correct bus. No one seemed to know. We asked several ground crew workers and they didn’t know either. By the time we found someone to help us and they figured out which bus was ours, it was pulling out of the station. The employee was able to call the driver to turn around and pick us up. The tour guide apologized (yes, he was one of the guides we had previously asked- not sure why he initially turned us away). We ended up just doing our own thing at each stop which turned into an amazing adventure, no thanks to the tour group/guide. The bus driver had one song on his playlist for the total 3 hours of riding time. Annoying

Grace, our guide was wonderful as well as our driver Jim. However the air conditioning went out and we drove from Windsor castle to Stonehenge in an awful heat. I would have liked a new bus to meet us in Stonehenge instead of Oxford. The rides were quite miserable. I also thought that the tour guide was going to guide us inside windsor castle. I had a good day, but could have skipped Oxford

Where do I start? So a couple of days before the set date, we got an alert that Oxford was cancelled. They gave us the option to either go to Bath instead (+Winsor & Stonehenge) or a full refund. We took the first option. We were with team "Dan" (guide Danxia and driver Dan). They were an amazing team! Even if the trip was hectic to get to all of those 3 places in one day, we honestly were far from being exhausted. The driver drove smoothly and Danxia was bubbly, giving us more energy. She also was very helpful when it came to questions we had. Amazing experience, we highly recommend it!

This was a great tour to take for a day away from the city of London. Our guide, Stefan, was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. Despite rain off and on throughout the day, Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford were worth seeing!

There was ample time at each location to explore. We were able to see St George Chapel and the rest of Windsor Castle with some time to spare. Stonehenge was a sight to behold. The tour guide was amazing. He gave lots of great information and kept it fun. Could have used more talking or some music between stops but a great experience overall. No scheduled lunch stop was a bit frustrating.

I had a medical emergency and could not attend. And still they refused to refund my tickets over $500. I could not cancel within 24 hours because I had a medical emergency. There was courtesy there at all.

Would recommend separating windsor and the other two tours

The visit to Stonehenge was very nice as was Oxford. I did enjoy the visit to Windsor but think it would been more enjoyable as a stand alone tour for a half day. the bus ride to Windsor was long and the walk the the entrance long as was the wait in line to get in. then we only had a short time to visit the castle.

Stonehenge, Oxford and Windsor were great places to visit. However, tour did not provide scheduled time for lunch. Windsor tour was canceled and tour guide did not provide much information. End point was changed without notice.

It was lovely getting a taste of so many places. You feel rushed seeing all three in one day but it was an amazing day! Our driver Richard was great! However be warned the rules change throughout the day. It was upsetting to be told no hot drinks or food and then have people bring coffee onto the bus and smelly food. The biggest disappointment was the tour guide, Teresa. The moment we walked on the bus she was mean. People were talking (quietly) and she announced that she will not be talking while others are talking. Therefore we did not get commentary during our bus ride because she got upset. What is weirder, when she did give commentary she would get angry when she would ask a question and she didn’t get an answer. We were too afraid to say anything that we all ended up agreeing when she asked a question. She proceeded to talk to our driver loudly saying how some people are just not capable or intelligent, alluding to those of us on the bus. Additionally, she talked down to the group. If she was cruel she said we didn’t have a sense of humor. She only changed her attitude when she realized how upset people were but by that point it was uncomfortable. Overall it was a great day because we made it a great day despite the time constraints and tour guide. After our tour another tour guide started taking to us and gave us great restaurant recommendations!

Everything was great. Just wished we had more time. Did not get enough time anywhere. Stonehenge is iconic, but that could be shortened. The guided tour of Oxford was great.

Experience was rushed in Stone Henge and did not want a bilingual tour.

We were arbitrarily put on a bilingual English/Mandarin tour although we had signed up for English only and we found that the guide’s English wasn’t very fluent. At Windsor Castle two passengers were left behind because they weren’t there within 10 minutes of departure time. At Stone Henge we were not given near enough time. It was a race to get back to the bus so that we weren’t left behind and no one on the bus had time to go to the Visitor’s Center. At the end of the tour we were dropped off an hour walk from the departure point, although on the tour details, it says that departure and return points are the same.
