It's always nice to now when one travels to a new place that you have no worries. After retrieving my luggage I went to arrival pickup. My ride was just a phone call away. I was not sure where to look but after a phone call my driver phoned me right back and told me where to go. There he was waiting for me. A very polite man. Took my luggage and escorted me to the car. We waited in the arrival area of Terminal 3 at Heathrow for the Viator driver for an hour. Called Viator and was told that the driver would be at Terminal 5 in 10 minutes. There was no way that we could get there with our luggage. The expectation was that we would be picked up at our arrival terminal. At significant additional expense we had to secure other transportation to our hotel in London.

No room for a ride share

Our plane arrived early, but our driver didn’t receive the message so we were the last couple to be picked up on our flight. It was not a ride share. It was a small car that barely held our luggage. The driver was nice.

Thankful to have someone to navigate the airport chaos.

The driver was knowledgeable about the area that we were staying in. He was courteous. It was a little stressful trying to fund him at the airport. So many drivers holding cards with names. We were afraid that we were going to miss him. But that wasn't the companies fault.

We had booked for airport to hotel transfer. Everybody is aware that during summer time, airport is busy due to tourists and immigration etc takes longer than usual. So the authorities who organize this transfer should provide additional time for those booked. They provide just one hour which is not sufficient from the flight arrival to completing the formalities. Same happened in our case and they called and said time is over and driver cant wait. So we had to hire a taxi and spent additional GBP 80 to reach hotel. I recommend those who wish to book this transfer to rethink specially in peak tourist season.
