Visit sharks, penguins and puffins with admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and explore 19 wildlife habitats from every corner of the world’s largest ocean. Slip beneath a full-sized model of a blue whale, and catch the eye of a fierce leopard shark. Travel from a Sea of Cortez kelp forest to the ice-crusted waters off Northern Japan; watch sea horses play in a tropical lagoon, pet a shark in a kid-friendly touch tank and listen to the eerie melodies of an undersea whale song.
Keeping our guests and staff safe is our top priority. We are limiting the number of visitors, requiring advance timed reservations, and managing traffic flow to ensure social distancing, requiring face coverings and temperature checks, providing numerous hand-sanitizing stations, and much more. Please note, the Lorikeet Forest and June Keyes Penguin Habitat are currently closed to protect our animals from avian (bird) flu.

At Least The Ice Cream Truck Was Good
Casey_D, Mar 2023
A very bland and commercialized aquarium without much to offer. They seemed more focused on selling merchandise and food than maintenance upkeep or diversity in animals. You would think that a major metropolis would have a much more enjoyable aquarium. Save your $
Everything was exciting....
Maxine_W, Mar 2023
Everything was exciting. I really missed my favorite the Penguins. Tickets were quick and convenient not waiting in line. Truly an enjoyable experience.
Aquarium great - Viator customer support TRASH
Liliana_C, Mar 2023
The aquarium was a great experience for my family. My experience with the customer support from Viator was complete trash! I will never do business with them again. I would suggest that everyone look into buying tickets directly from the business if that is possible.
Ok, interesting
Michael_M, Feb 2023
While in Long Beach for a cruise we had a day to ourselves and spent some time at the port. Fish and coral were great
Imaginary trip No help
Jenna_G, Feb 2023
We didn’t make the trip because our family got caught in snow. I tried to contact staff from the aquarium or edit the reservation but neither was successful. We definitely want to go next time.
Go early!
Jim_J, Feb 2023
It was great! A little crowded but has a really nice setup. I think it is best to go early. There is avian flu right now so the penguins were inside.

There were all interesting,, Everyone should take their kids to have fun. It was an amazing day… We has such a fun day.
Worth it to buy skip the line.
Bonnie_K, Jan 2023
The aquarium is right across the street from the parking garage. The parking garage is a good size, though some spots are a bit small. Skip the line tickets were great, especially since it was raining when we arrived. The aquarium over all was nice, it was a little smaller than I had been expecting it to be.
We paid full price but...
Parisa_M, Jan 2023
We paid full price but half of the aquarium was closed and there was no notice when I purchased the tickets

No big lines if you go...
Andrew_L, Nov 2022
No big lines if you go early. Lots of empty display venues though. Plenty of washrooms- be ready to walk, the shuttle is not running
Perfect for a day date!
Raychel_R, Nov 2022
This was such a fun activity to do on the weekend. Lots do see and interact with. I loved that there were both indoor and outdoor exhibits to check out. Overall, we spent about 3 hours here and it wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday. However, we went earlier in the afternoon.
To many Jerks
Heather_B, Nov 2022
Way to many rude people. They would not move so we can see what we wanted to see. I was assuming departure on my ticket meant we would be lead in a group. It was awful
