This tour has a little bit of everything

What a fantastic time! I was with my adult daughter and we didn't really know what to expect. Beau was a brilliant, informative, and entertaining tour guide. There was constant Hollywood history, a little haunting, and a lot of true crime. Beau seemed to know it all! There was never a moment where he wasn't talking to us, even while walking. Two hours packed full of exciting information. The very first thing we were told before we even started was that there are NO BATHROOMS along the tour and to go before we leave. Halfway through, a mom with her teenage son said he needed a bathroom. Despite everyone else being annoyed by the mom not letting it go, and the son being extremely embarrased because of her, Beau handled it very professionally! My daughter and I both recommend this tour!

I appreciated the hosts knowledge, passion, and imagery (via ipad). He arrived ontime, was professional, and willing to walk our group back to the starting point (as we were not familiar with LA).

Amazing tour. Highly recommend our guide, Matt. He was a wealth of knowledge and great stories about the creepier side of Hollywood. Its not really for children so be warned.

Learning new facts about LA. The tour is a great outing for friends and family. I grew up in LA and didn’t know a lot of the information that was presented by our tour guide. By the way, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and presented it well. However, there was more information regarding murders and shady happenings than haunted buildings. Also, a suggestion…don’t know if you can do it but it would be nice to go into one of the buildings.

Knickerbocker Hotel where William Frawely (Fred from I Love Lucy died) and Elvis and Marilyn Monroe had photo shoots. Loved seeing the buildings and hearing the history and stories of Hollywood. I liked ending the tour at Graumans Chinese Theater and having time to visit that landmark. Beau our guide was VERY knowledgeable

Our guide was a great story teller, he mixed in Hollywood history trivia and haunted stuff together well ! For the pictures that go with the story, the tour company should give guides an iPad so we can see pictures better. At the end of the tour our bellies were growling and our dogs were barking, be sure to have had dinner before and wear comfy shoes for walking!

Our original tour was supposed to be on Hollywood Boulevard but our tour guide did not show up. Chris came over and made sure we made it to the Sunset Boulevard true crime tour and was one of the most interesting guides I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and did all of his homework. He also made sure we made it back to get our car on Hollywood Boulevard. Fantastic!!
Might have been a fun time, but will never know.

We waited and the tour guide never showed. Someone did show offering to Uber us to another tour at 7 two miles away which was nice, but we we declined as it was almost 7 already and we had plans after. We wasted $40 in parking, too.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made for a really fun experience!! It will definitely give you a glimpse into the darker side of Hollywood!!
Not a family tour

We took our family (older kids) down expecting a safe family event. Instead we were offered a tour with no restroom access at the start or finish, walking our children through and extremely rough area. There were multiple times we felt safety was questionable. At the end of the tour it was good luck finding you way back- we are about a mile from where we started and in a very rough area. This is best for adults only. Positive - host was pleasant.

This tour definitely is more adult in its content. While we don't prohibit teenagers from joining, we do advise caution. It's really up to each parent to know what their own kids should be participating in. Hollywood unfortunately isn't the best area - and this tour does take place at night - but we have never had a safety issue. Sure, there are homeless around - but that's in any major city and is unavoidable. As for the ending location, it's clearly stated in the listing that it does not end where it began - it's about a 10 minute walk away. Again, best to review all details before booking - especially a true crime type tour. Thanks for the feedback. Best, Dara

Did the haunted Hollywood/True crime and Creepy tales tour with Beau (Bo?) yesterday and it was fantabulous! He had so much knowledge to share and you can tell he not only has a passion for information but is also happy to share it with the tour group. It was fun to just chit chat with him post tour as well. Highly recommend this tour and if you can request a tour guide I would definitely request him. He even gave us a recommendation for a little diner to grab some food. We were in LA for only 24 hours so it was important to us to get the most out of our time and he made sure the tour was fun and interesting.
