    The darker side of LA...
    Julian_N, Sep 2023
Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Brandon, was very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Los Angeles and it's darker side. He did a great job at both showcasing the gritty history of downtown LA, while also shining light on it's beautiful art deco architecture, urban planning and development and it's cultural significance as a city. He also made great recommendations for nearby bars and shops. He knows his stuff! If you are a history buff, and want to see and learn more about LA other than it's theme parks and beaches, you will will love this tour. If you have a morbid fascination, then also look no further. Some of the sights and stories gave my wife and I chills! It also ended up being a private tour, because the other guests all cancelled . Made it a unforgettable experience! Not to mention, it's affordable price compared to other tours in the city. If you are thinking about booking this tour, don't hesitate and book it!
    Loved it. Recommend 100%

Brandon was very friendly and funny. We really liked the tour. It was very interesting and we learned a lot of LA's dark history. Brandon was not only friendly to us but to everyone that passed us during the walk. I would recommend it 100%.
    A must do

Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate. We learned so many neat things about LA history. The mystery parts really spoke to the teenagers yet there was history involved which taught them something.
    Really fun tour

    Guide Makes Tour Riveting
    Sally_S, Apr 2022
The guide makes a tour. Our guide Neil had great command over his material, was energetic, enthusiastic, well pre-pared, friendly & helpful. I’m giving the tour five stars ⭐️ because of these qualities. Personally, I chose Haunted Houses because I couldn’t make the LA Downtown Art & Architecture tour. But everyone else on the tour was into the Haunted House & Murder aspects, and they loved it!! Much discussion and theories of unsolved murders.
    Fabulous tour. The tour...

Fabulous tour. The tour guide was amazing. The tour didn’t stop where we started so we had to walk through skid row by ourselves for 30 mins alone n in LA unexpectedly. This was my first time in downtown LA and it was just me and my sister. Everything else was amazing!!
    Response from Host, Nov 2021
Thanks for joining us! The tour does not end where it starts and should have been noted on the ticket. We repeat this information again at the start of the tour so people are made aware.

Neil is a very informative guide. He took us to the nuclear fallout shelter and described in detail the length and direction.
Neel is an awesome tour guide

Lots of fun with a well educated tour guide that knew a lot about the city and it’s dark history. Would definitely recommend.

A great tour jam-packed with interesting facts and information! We loved that tour really stuck to the history and grim stories of Los Angeles — no cheesy “ghost” moments. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend to anyone considering a walking tour!
    Adventure w a friend
    Tabitha_O, Oct 2021
Our tour guide Neel was very informative and personable. Didn’t feel like a tour, felt like a fun adventure with a friend. The tour was for my soon to be 9year old sons bday, he’s fascinated w ghosts. This tour did not disappoint. Best part was all the information was real, it actually happened.
    A dream of old LA
    Marina_S, Sep 2021
We were running alittle late but our guide Neel waited for us. I love the more intimate tour with only one other couple walking with us. I checked a haunted toured of LA of my bucket list! It was a great and fun experience

My wife and I are LA residents, but wanted to see a different side of downtown. Neel made the haunted and macabre side of Hollywood come to life for us. Highly recommended!

This tour is one of my favorites of all time. I highly recommend for anyone who loves true crime. You learn about unsolved mysteries, history of building and myths that turned out to be true. This tour came complete with videos and articles to back up all the information. Los Angeles will blow you away....

Had a great time walking around the area and hearing the creepy, scary stories that happened over the years
    Amazing!
    Angelic_M, Aug 2021
It was a really good tour. Loved the tour guides enthusiasm and just over all was a fun experience. The tour guide even stayed after until my friends and I got safely into an Uber. Overall great experience. Would definitely do another tour again.
Good look at downtown from the mass murder perspective
    Amy_J, Aug 2021
It was hard to choose between the Hollywood and the downtown ghost tours, so I did both. Hollywood was more about ghosts. The downtown tour was historically interesting and complex. The guide has done a lot of research on the history of LA and covers the downtown from the atrocities of the early settlers up through the Black Dahlia and serial killers of recent years. The last hour of the tour focuses on the bloody history of the famous downtown hotels. Our group was small, which was really nice because we could hear everything and we never had to worry about keeping up.
