Our time was limited so this tour suited us perfectly. Caesar was our driver & tour guide, we were amazed at how much info he packed into our tour, it was informative and felt more authentic than most other tours. Caesar was no stress, easy going & funny! He helped us out with best places to go, including lunch after our tour… would recommend!

Our driver Cesar was very informative. His general knowledge of Los Angeles and California kept us captivated. We saw beautiful views from the Griffith Observatory. We also toured Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Rodeo Drive just to name a few. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and recommend this tour when visiting LA.

We had an amazing time touring with Cesar. He was funny and gave us so much information that we never would have known otherwise. The afternoon flew by and at the end of the tour, he also provided us with information on how to get a bus from BH to Santa Monica which was helpful in planning the next day of our trip.

Very fun, guide Cesar was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and funny. Griffith Observatory was a great bonus and highlight. Nice to be air conditioned and a smaller van vs a bus. I’m 52, slight difficulty hearing him in last row of van. Suggest a speaker going forward.

A great way to see LA with an informative and friendly driver. We heard stories about famous people and places, saw the sights we really wanted to see and were able to take some great pictures. I would highly recommend.

This was a very good tour. We chose it over one other that we had looked at, because we read reviews here of where you got out at the stops and were able to take pictures. This was absolutely true! Cesar is very knowledgeable of the area and gives you all kinds of tips and information while you are on your tour. Being from the eastern side of the US, he hits spots that we had only seen in movies and photos. These were the Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive. You also see several celebrity homes. Seeing the Hollywood sign from the Griffith Observatory was very cool One thing I would highly recommend is to carry cash with you, so you can tip Cesar at the end of the tour.

Driving around LA with a friend

This tour was like being driven around town by a friend! Not flashy, not a huge tour bus with 25 people... it was my daughter and I and another family. Ceasar was obviously knowledgeable and passionate about his city and showed us all the big sites and a few stars homes as well. If you have limited time and/or just want to get a locals perspective this is a great option.

Save your money and try somewhere else

Unfortunately, my only experience with this tour was paying for nothing. I had booked and paid for my daughter and I to go on the 9am tour, and took Uber to the starting point, leaving plenty of time to spare. Unfortunately, traffic became an issue, so I messaged the tour at 8:20 to tell them that the timing would be tight. I was told that they would only wait 2 minutes for us. Then, at about 8:45am, I messaged again and told them that Uber was projecting that we would arrive at 9:05am. When we arrived at 9:05, the tour had left and Cesar later messaged to say that he had waited until 9:04. While I can understand the desire to keep on schedule, waiting until 9:04 when you know that the people are arriving at 9:05 seemed particularly cruel. I would not recommend this tour to anyone and would simply recommend that people use one of the many tours that don’t require booking in advance, as this tour does not seem to take account any of the issues of driving in LA.

Hello. We are sorry you missed your Tour that starts at 9am. We waited for you to arrive but 9am had other passengers waiting for you to arrive on time. Thats why we recommend all to arrive at 845am just in case you are running late. If we do not depart at 9am the other passenger would get upset also. Los Angeles is a big city with lots of traffic every day. I hope you have a good day.

This tour was one of the best parts of our three day trip to LA!! Caesar was so funny and knowledgeable - he took us to the best places and kept us entertained and learning about LA all along the way. Not only is it a great tour, it's a great value vs trying to get to all of the places we visited using an Uber. My daughter loved seeing where Justin Bieber and other celebrities live and I loved seeing the Griffith Observatory area and every part of this tour. It's not in a flashy double decker - just a plain white van with good AC and a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

My family and I did not get to experience this. FYI Cali has horrible traffic. Although we left and hour and a half earlier to get there on time, we ended up getting there and parking exactly at 1pm, which is the start of the tour. I contacted the operator told him we just parked and if he can wait. He said he’s leaving now. I send another message and he never responded. The company doesn’t display their name only a meet up location so once we got to the location at 1:07 there was a bus tour guy there who wasn’t Cesar and another one that stopped a few stores ahead. Not knowing the name makes it tricky to figure out who it could be as well as not being familiar with the area as a tourist. There was no consideration. Not accommodating. No refund (almost $200 for my husband, myself, and our 3 kids 6 and under). No care. We called Viator, they contacted him and he claimed to be there until 1:07 but we were standing there that whole time and read them the text convo and told them the time of contact. They said they can request for a refund but no guarantee.

BOMB DIGGITY!!

Ceasar was great! He has been doing this for 11yrs and it shows. He knows where to take you, how long to keep you in those spots. It's 3hrs and doesn't feel like it because it's nothing but fun. It was my 2 kiddos, both my parents and wife and I. We all had a good time. Grateful it was in an enclosed van with AC bc it was HOT! Lucky we weren't in the other tour busses. Ceasar's is the way to go. Oh, and also translates in Spanish a bit if need to!!!!!
