    Dane was an excellent guide! Enjoyed seeing the bamboo forest, rainbow eucalyptus trees, the sea turtles sunbathing on the beach and delicious fresh-baked banana bread!

    We had the pleasure of touring Maui with Kea, a native of the island, a gentle soul, and a wonderful human being. His insights into the island's culture and history (in addition to his charm) made the tour a delight. The halfway trip around the island was just the right amount of time for us and his expertise navigating the local roads put us at ease. I highly recommend the halfway or full way tour from Holo Holo Maui Tours. Your experience will be equally profound if you are assigned Kea as your tour guide. Have fun!

    Kae was a great guide very informative. Got to see everything we wanted to see on our tour. Beautiful lookout points. Seeing the sea turtles was great. Banana bread was delicious and perfect snack. Be aware the road is very narrow and windy not the best for people that get car sick. Would recommend bring something for motion sickness. Definitely bring hand sanitizer or wipes because the bathrooms are very rustic and many do not have soap. Overall glad we did the tour.

    Our guide kea was amazing!! He knew so much history of Hawaii!! It was an awesome day! He was engaging the whole trip and showed us some really cool spots. If you can ask for kea!!! You won’t regret it

    So glad we had a guide. I normally drive so it allowed me to take in every single bit of it, absolutely amazing. Our driver and guide, Dane, was fantastic! Not only getting us up and down safely but also taking his time. He told us about the area, the state, the history. He took us to two great snack places uncles and aunts. LOL. The banana bread, and I am not a fan of banana bread, was phenomenal. Kalua pork tacos with the barbecue sauce on them were amazing. We saw loggerhead turtles, we saw a monk seal, we saw amazing nature, and Dane and the kids jumped from a waterfall I to the pool. We had a fantastic time. There were eight in our party. Definitely recommend.

    Ana was an amazing tour guide! She was great company, informative and super-sweet. We learned so much along the half day road to Hana with her and got so much more out of the experience.     CoVid check at airport was a nightmare

    The tour operator went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He was great . That being said; Do NOT try to enter without a hard copy of your negative CoVid test. We were denied entry & had to return to Oahu because we couldn’t produce our PDF result in a half hour! They also quarantined us.

    Rodney, a/k/a Handsome Bugga picked us up from our hotel and from minute one was full of energy and excitement. The knowledge and personal experience he shared with us was second to none. Whether you go all the way to Hana or just halfway as we did, myself, wife and son who is in graduate school in Monoa had the time of our lives. From the history to the unbelievable Banana Bread and Pork Sandwich we enjoyed at lunch to the warmth and Aloha spirit he showed, could not recommend it any more. Mahalo!!

    Tommy was awesome and so accommodating. He is a walking history/agricultural book! We had 2 young kids with us (2 and 4 year old) and he was great with them. Do the private tour and you go at your own pace and stop where you want! Would recommend to all my friends and family.

    Two of us had a private tour with Gus. He was terrific! A really nice guy. Extremely knowledgable about the area and didn’t rush us through any of the stops. He even knew where we could see turtles.

    We had a pleasant experience with Jasmine during our tour! We wanted to enjoy the experience without the stress of driving to Hana and avoid being exhausted by doing a full-day, so we decided to book a tour. You will not be disappointed by booking with Holo Holo Maui Tours! Jasmine was a fantastic guide through our entire journey and stopped along the way to get us lunch, banana bread, and fresh coconut juice that my mom really wanted to have.
