I was a little nervous to snorkel but the guides were super helpful, did not force anyone, and gave us all the flotation we needed so we felt good to go in the water.

Snorkel sights were lesser traveled and more quiet than others which made the trip relaxing.

Amazing! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience! We went during the first week of March during whale migration season. It was absolutely magical. Saw at least 8-10 whales and calves on the way to the snorkeling spots. First snorkeling spot was great, second spot was amazing! We swam within 15 feet of several sea turtles! The crew absolutely spoiled us with fresh fruit and banana bread for breakfast, a catered lunch, and desert. Finished off with a spa-like peppermint infused towel to get the salt off our faces. Crew was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and was very accommodating to first timers and pros. Cannot recommend this small business enough. Made our trip very special.

Incredible! We went late January, and saw about 10 whales and 10 sea turtles on this tour, it was unreal! They provided us plenty of food, drinks, and snacks. Delicious catered breakfast and lunch. You can tell the staff love their jobs and were so excited to be on the water. Couldn't recommend it enough!!!

We had such a great time! Soooo much better than going out on a crowded catamaran! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! The banana bread and fruit in the AM was nice! Also, the wraps for lunch were really good too! Love to support small businesses like this because they really make you feel like your part of their family!! Thank you for the amazing experience! Will definitely be back!

The tour guides were amazing. They served us very well and showed us some interesting things about whales. We saw a few whales at a very short distance. Tropical fish and turtles were everywhere! The water was a bit cold though. Overall it was a fantastic trip!

We were able to see turtles, an octopus, and all kinds of fish. The crew was terrific and knowledgeable. I had never snorkeled nor been in the ocean, I felt safe the entire time. This was absolutely the best money we have spent on this trip. It was a small group and that made a huge difference for me. We passed other excursions with an overwhelming number of people on board.

My husband and I booked this our last day in Maui, and it was hands down one of the best experiences while we were there! The guides were super helpful and encouraging, especially for those less experienced. They also showed and told us about different kinds of fish and other sea life that we may not have noticed when snorkeling. We snorkeled in two different spots, and we saw so many turtles at the second location! The food was catered from a local restaurant, and the Magic Merman team was great about accommodating to different diets (vegetarian, etc.). I highly recommend this group if you're looking to snorkel in Maui!

Very friendly and well run tour. Communication on what to expect was excellent before our trip and throughout the tour. Crew Emma and Aiden were so friendly and chatty with local knowledge and tips. Captain Jill clearly experienced. I was with my husband and kids ages 11 and 12 and felt very safe throughout. The small group of 20 helped make this a special experience for our family and not just another tourist crowd. Would highly recommend for families. Food was amazing - fresh fruit, banana bread, wraps for lunch with veggie option, juice/soda/water offered multiple times.

We traveled with my in-laws (5 adults and 3 kids 6 11 and 12) this trip was amazing. The small group was great with the small kids and really allowed us to ask questions and chat with Derek and Shasta. We got to go to 2 amazing spots and saw lots of different fish and turtles. Derek and Shasta were very helpful and answered all our questions about the animals we saw. We even got to hold an urchin. We had banana bread pineapple and strawberries for breakfast (try the cream cheese on there it’s delish!) and a wrap (vegetarian option available) with chips for lunch. We can’t wait to come back!

Awesome Start to our Maui Vacation

The crew was super-friendly and spent time while we were traveling from spot to spot talking to each of the groups on the snorkeling tour. They were very knowledgeable and talked to everyone about the different types of fish and animals we were likely to see at each stop. We went to three different spots (~30-45 minutes of snorkeling per spot) and saw a variety of bright colored fish, an eel, tons of sea turtles and a couple of white-tipped sharks. As we travelled, the crew served fresh pineapple and strawberries and banana bread for breakfast and wraps for lunch. We enjoyed every minute of the adventure and would do it again in a heartbeat! It was a great start and our vacation and I would highly recommend!

My husband and I had our catamaran cancelled last minute and we were so lucky it did! We were able to book the Magic Merman and we had the best time. Will, Emma and Shasta were absolutely amazing. They made sure we always had a drink if we needed one and gave us bits of information on our boat ride. We went to three different stops. The first snorkel stop we were the only ones around and the coral reef and fish were beautiful. We were given banana bread which was amazing! We were able to spot a pod of dolphins and sit there for 5-10 minutes to watch them swim by. Lastly, we went to another spot to snorkel with at least 10 sea turtles. It was incredible to watch them swim. We had lunch which included a sandwich wrap and chips while we went back to dock the boat. Great experience 10/10 recommend!

Best experience we had in Hawaii! Derrick, Emma and Shasta were so nice and the level of service was amazing! They provide noodles and floats for the nervous snorkeler and watch closely over the experienced just to make sure all is well! My 10 year old was a snorkeling pro after this trip! We got to go to 3 different spots. We saw so many cool fish and turtles! The boat was really nice, and the food they provided was delicious - especially the banana bread! This trip is a must do!

Absolutely an unbelievable experience. Captain Will and our guides were incredible, making our experience personal and relaxed. Locations were perfect, especially stop 1 at the remote Lanai. Stop 2 was also amazing, with viewings of 9 turtles, 2 sharks and countless fish. Our family were average at best snorkelers and felt comfortable the entire time. Food was delicious and plentiful. Cannot recommend this enough for any family no matter your level of snorkeling.
