What To Expect

Choose between morning and afternoon departure options and then meet your helicopter at Maui’s Kahului Airport at your chosen hour.

Take off into the tropical skies above this scenic Hawaiian island as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime flight above some of Maui and Molokai’s most scenic views. Enjoy views of mist-shrouded rainbows, thundering waterfalls, sheer vertical cliffs, and lush-green mountain valleys, taking advantage of the perfect photo opportunities afforded by your open-air helicopter cabin.

At the end of your ride, land back at Kahului Airport, still “floating” on air after your incredible doors-off flight. Please note the flight terms and conditions in the itinerary section below.

Supplier Terms and Conditions for Doors Off (MUST READ)
ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight.
Children must be at least 10 years of age or older to go on doors off. An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old. Only age 16+ can sit on an edge/outside seat.
No hats, bags or any loose items allowed.
Must wear closed toed shoes. No flip-flops or sandals.

Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
Air Maui will provide each passenger a jacket that will be required for all passengers to wear during flight.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time. For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
Comfort seat charge for one passenger weighing 230lbs or more or a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400lbs or more. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase a comfort seat due to safety on the doors off flight.
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter

Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Every part of our experience was special! Vince gave us such great history, humor, spectacular views and a particularly amazing sighting of two whales frolicking together and he let us get closer to see them without invading their space. I can't say enough that this will be by far the best part of our first time in Hawaii!

Amazing helicopter tour of sea walls of Molokai and amazing Maui but would like to see one other shoulder strap as added safety should the one and only lap safety buckle inadvertently open or fail. Also my 85-year old dad was quite ill on morning of our event and would have apprecitiated a refund or atleast credit for him as we did have 4 total going. Thanks

Epic Views! Once you’ve been on doors off ride, you’ll never want to do anything less. It was an incredible adventure. Nathan our pilot was so smooth that our videos and pictures came to life. The falls, cliffs, and ocean are nothing short of breath taking up on birds eye view. Checkin with staff was fast and easy. 45 min of my life has just been blown away by this memory. Hurry and Book it you won’t be disappointed.

This was a long awaited experience and the views were amazing. Couple of suggestions one - would be that the person taking the door seat be warned that they will be pinned to the seat and basically unable to turn there heads, second would be that ther be one hell of a lot more attention to seat belts. My wifes seat belt quite honestly was done up Extremly casually. She was on the outside seat and her seat belt actually moved across her body during the flight and she was quite worried she was going to fall out,
