Cacao trees and chocolate tastings in a treehouse!

Great time. Our guide Kat was wonderful and filled with information about the chocolate process. Just long enough to not lose interest! Beautiful setting. Highly Recommended!

A nice short, educational tour. Enjoyed the history of the company and how they are giving back in terms of donations and sustainability. Also learned much about the chocolate making process from start to finish. Highlight is the tasting in the treehouse with amazing views. It is all dark chocolate samples so if you’re not a dark chocolate fan you may not enjoy.

Who can pass up a chocolate tour and tasting?! Not this chocolate lover. The tour was interesting and the tasting was substantial (and yummy). IOur guide, Lucas knew his stuff. And it made it even more worthwhile hearing that all profits went back into the community.

Too Many Mosquitoes

It was cool to see the cacao trees up close, but there should have been a serious warning about mosquitoes ahead of time. While hubby did not seem affected, I had 20-30 bites, mostly around my knees, which were still itching on Sunday after a tour on Friday. Our guide was aware of the issue but seemed to think the bites only were a minor issue - not for me!!! They should recommend taking precautions ahead of the tour, or provide options before heading to the grove of trees. I also think $85 per person is quite steep for this tour, so do not bother if you have a limited budget- just do your own research.

Had a wonderful time touring the farm and factory! Our guide was experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly. We took a ride up thr farm and learned about the history of the land, farm and the the detailed process from harvesting to the final chocolate product. Views were amazing and loved sitting in the tree house tasting chocolate!

From the beginning of arrival the staff were friendly and fun. Very interesting tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and obviously I could see he loves his job. He was interactive with clients and so friendly and kind. The chocolates are the best I’ve ever tasted. No more Lindt chocolate for me!
