Amazing Tour

If I could give this 10 stars I would 💯. Our friend group had a trip reserved on Friday and we had Dell! He was amazing from beginning to end, I am so glad he survived our group of 8 we are by no means a quiet group lol, he vibed with us and shared so much rich Hawaiian culture and history for us, he is filled with much knowledge and he made our trip so much more fun and memorable!!! Seriously if you get the chance to request a guide ask for Dell!!

The driver drove extremely fast, did not share much knowledge about the island. The so called gourmet lunch was a terrible sandwich from a supermarket. Overall the trip was overpriced. We did not get the correct sandwich we ordered

Excellent Way to See the Road to Hana

Beautiful scenery and gorgeous waterfalls. Have driven the Road to Hana once before but didn’t see anything since I had to keep my eyes on the road. Having a driver was much more enjoyable. Our driver Kaipo from Sunshine Tours was a lot f fun and a huge personality.

Where to begin... like most I researched online, read many reviews, and ultimately decided on seeing some waterfalls. From what I learned through reviews it made sense to book a trip rather than drive a windy road I was unfamiliar with, and honestly I'm glad I did as that was the smarter choice overall for many obvious reasons. However, from reviews and word of mouth, I knew it all depended on our tour guide! Some try to rush, others are more patient. We got lucky and ended up with a young man by the name of Calvin who was not only knowledgeable, but also kind, patient, and funny. He had all the inside scoops! The trip itself was long and full of stops and took almost a solid 12 hours to complete. The best part of the trip was definitely Black Sands Beach and seeing turtles basking in the sun on the beach in Ho'okipa though for sure. If you're looking for lush green tropical forest with waterfalls along the way, I would highly recommend this trip. Just make sure to ask for Calvin to get the inside scoops!

Had such a great time. Got to swim in a waterfall and in the ocean. Saw turtles on the beach and the guide was so funny and enjoyed him so much!!!!

A complete shambles, do not book this tour

Turned up 2 hours late. Spent 2 hours picking 2 sets of other people up. Finally got on the road by 11 passed a sign saying road closed in 35 miles..yet he carried on driving...about half an hour down the road a car stopes us and told us to turn around as road closed Finally got to road to hana by 12.15 The tour guide said lots of stops, by 12.15 we had 2 stops, safeways and restroom. Went really fast down the road to hana with no stops. Chips are April 2022...so out of date I ordered 2 turkey lunches..we were given ham. Got to black beach at 3...had 20 mins to see everything. Did not stop at red sand beach ...just drove through Dis not stop at hana just drove through With the tour guide being 2 hours late and going the wrong way must have cost us 5 hrs..we didn't really see anything or do any thing properly. A complete shambles

This trip lived up to expectations. The natural beauty of the island was much easier to enjoy with someone else driving. Our guide, Kawika, did an excellent job navigating the road and informing us of the island culture and history. Our stops were well timed and provided good highlights. This tour was absolutely amazing. My family and I enjoyed every breathing moment. Well worth the money. The tour is all day, so do not plan an early adventure the next day, you will be tired well at least we were. The icing on the cake was our guide Lisa she treated us like family, she was patient, kind, generous, hilarious and very knowledgeable. Make sure when you book that you ask for Lisa you will not be disappointed. She genuinely wants you to have a great time, I used to work in hospitality and you know when it’s just a job vs a passion. Oh did I mention she was extremely safe, the roads are very steep and curvy and she was beyond very, very cautious. Enjoy!!
