What To Expect

Proceed to Lahaina Harbor in the morning to board your boat, the “Ocean Spirit,” for your Honolua snorkeling adventure. Enjoy the views of Maui’s scenic Ka’anapali Coastline en route along with an included breakfast as you sail toward Honolua Bay for your first snorkeling stop.

You’ll dive into the warm, clear, waters of this popular snorkel site for a leisurely aquatic exploration, enjoying encounters with local marine life life sea turtles, rainbow-hued fish, and a variety of coral. A certified marine naturalist will help to put your underwater discoveries into context. Leaving Honolua Bay behind, you’ll to a second site for more snorkeling, including a guided reef tour from your naturalist.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, climb back on board for an included barbecue lunch, featuring kalua pork, chicken, hot dogs, veggie burgers, bean and corn salad, and potato-macaroni salad, plus included beverages. Your vessel with then set its sails for the return trip back to Lahaina Harbor as you spend time sunbathing and relaxing on board. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some of Maui’s resident community of wild bottlenose, spinner, and spotted dolphins.

Your snorkel adventure ends back in Lahaina Harbor.

What an amazing trip! The guides were very patient and super nice. They took us to amazing places while still managing to avoid the crowds. The gear they provided was in excellent condition. I saw tons of different fish, some eels, sea turtles, and even an octopus! On the way back to harbor they even located a pod of dolphins who swam with the boat and we got to lay on a mesh hammock in the front of the boat and watch them! I would highly recommend this trip!

Captain Chris is Awesome! Dolphins galore!

Capt Chris, Desmond and Renee were GREAT!!!! Capt Chris had us laughing and kept it fun. They grilled lunch on board was awesome! So many options, chicken, hotdogs, pulled pork, vegetarian too! Desmond spent time educating us about marine life and gave us great info and tips to remember. While sailing back (sails all open!) to harbor we came upon a huge pod of spinner dolphins. It was truly an amazing experience! It brought tears to my eyes to watch these beautiful creatures play in front of our catamaran. Going to Honolua Bay is so much better than a trip to Molokini. Thanks Captain Chris! You Totally Rock!!!🎉⛵️🐬🐠🐢🍔👍🏻

Honolua Snorkel trip

Captain Chris and the crew were awesome! The Captain and Desmond were particularly personable and knowledgeable about “all things Maui”. The food was delicious with plentiful portions. Enjoyed two great snorkel sites with a variety of beautiful fish and coral. My son wears glasses and they supplied a prescription mask for him. This made his trip so much more enjoyable. Overall the trip was even better than I had hoped. My family of seven all agreed on a 5 star review. I would definitely schedule again!!

Hanging with Captain Chris and his crew. The best, the marine biologists teaching about the ocean and the beautiful and healthy looking coral reef. The pod of dolphins on the sail home. The eels and octopi, the ocean breeze and the good food!
