Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour time and map location & travel time before leaving accommodations. Enter the Garden of Eden Arboretum and identify yourself as a Rappel Maui guest. Proceed 100 yards to the Rappel Maui assigned parking area. Your guides will meet you at your tour time.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Minimum age is 10 years old.
All participants must weigh between 70 lbs and 250 lbs; waists must measure between 22 and 48 inches. We weigh all participants at check in. There is no refund for guests who don't make the weight restriction at the check in point.
Participants must understand spoken English well and speak it fluently.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult; a legal parent or guardian must sign the child's permission form before tour begins.
Operates in all weather conditions with alternate rappels when the waterfalls are flooding, please dress appropriately.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

I would recommend wearing leggings if possible as it can be slippery and I was very glad I had.

I recommend this activity if you're looking for something adventurous to do and don't forget to put on some bug spray in addition to sunblock!

Fantastic start to our trip

Did this excursion with my 11 year old son. Our guides Abbie and Jeffrey were amazing. Most of our group was new to rappelling. They provided great instructions and support to make everyone in our group feel comfortable and we’re amazing cheerleaders the entire time. They were also very personable to chat with throughout our time. We did three rappels. The first was more of a warm up along the side of a short cliff that was angled. The second was our favorite. It was the largest and went alongside a waterfall in which you jumped into a pool or water at the end. The final one was a bit shorter just more technical going directly in the waterfall and landing in a pool of water again at the end. Brace yourself because the water is cold! The scenery is beautiful along the way for lots of good picture. The hardest part might have been the hike back to the top after we we’re done. Very steep with lots of stairs but didn’t take too long (~10 min). My son was a bit timid at first but very much enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend!

Best adventure on the island

This is our 7th trip to Maui, and our first Rappel experience. Alena and Gabbie are fabulous instructors, they instilled the confidence we (me, my husband and 14 year old son) needed to brave the rappel over three separate drops. It was the most terrifying yet thrilling thing we have ever done, and this won’t be our last rappelling adventure.

Loved everything about this activity! If you’re debating weather to do it or not, DO IT! My husband had the time of his life! I am still learning how to swim and did awesome thanks to how much Sam and Naomi hyped me up and gave me the confidence boost i needed. S & N were so kind and so full of energy they made our time w them very fun and enjoyable. We loved that we felt very safe w the gear we got and all the safety procedures. So glad they started us off with a smaller cliff and then leveled up from there. enjoyed the whole experience. And we are very grateful our guides were Naomi and Sam. Such great girls 💕

This is an AMAZING experience! You are repelling off 3 ledges - 1 “practice” and 2 waterfalls. These are on private property and you are not going to be able to experience these on your own or just walk in. The falls are beautiful and our guides say it is very rare for them to never have any water. For the reviews complaining about too strong… we went when the falls were “moderate” according to the guides. At that level the water does pound on you! Still incredibly fun and a life experience. Guides were very concerned about safety and great at explaining how to repel. We also got to swim in the pond under the falls which was amazing! On a personal note Repel Maui went far above and beyond. I lost my cell phone and their ops manager found it and many people worked to get it returned to me in less than 24 hours - including on a Saturday! These people are great to work with. You can trust these people because I worked with and talked to 5 different people from booking to getting my phone back. All 100% professional and went above and beyond!
