Kekoa was fantastic! We had so much fun and success that after a break we came back and continued to surf in the afternoon!

The staff were friendly, competent and fully exceeded our expectations. I found them to be flexible and willing to accommodate our needs. Definitely, the place to get your lesson and/or rent your gear!

Our instructor, Ben, was awesome! We are an older (40ish) couple who have always wanted to try surfing. Ben made it easy and we didn’t feel “old”. Both of us were able to stand up and catch our own wave by the end of the lesson. I also appreciated that Ben was looking out for us and making sure the situation was safe as the waters were pretty crowded with people. We had such a good experience, my husband went back the next day and rented a board to get more time in. We totally recommend Maui Wave Riders and Ben!
incredible memory for our family

We had an unbelievable memorable experience with our instructor. He was kind, patient and very fun in dealing with a mom & dad learning to surf along with our 9 & 6 year olds. We highly recommend!!

Sola was a great instructor. Helpful, fun, laid back, and gave excellent lunch recommendation. The surfing was a blast too.
