As you make your way along this incredibly scenic drive, enjoy a few rest stops that allow you to get a sense for the surrounding area. Hana Highway - Road to Hana (Pass By)
While in Maui, take a journey along the famous Road to Hana! On this 6-hour, small-group luxury tour, you’ll experience the Road to Hana from both the ground and sky. Board an air-conditioned, luxury Limo-Van at the Kahului Heliport and start your professionally guided tour to Hana. With plush seats, large windows and a maximum of six passengers, this is the most comfortable way to navigate the winding roads, and is a perfect adventure for the whole family.

You’ll make several stops along this spectacular coastal drive including the quaint Hawaiian village of Ke’anae, Wai’anapanapa State Park, black sand beaches and the scenic road leads, of course, to Hana.

- Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers and bags must be weighed at check-in. For each passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, there is an extra charge. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. This is payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour. All passengers are weighed by the helicopter company upon check-in.

Enjoying the road to Hana by land and air!

The scenery was beautiful. Our guide told us about the unique plants on the island. She was very good at driving this very curvy road. She also told us of the history. She stopped at places so we could capture photographs of the beautiful views. We stopped at the black sand beach, where she set out a picnic lunch. The flight back, with Tim, was great. The view from the air was worth it. I would highly recommend this tour. You could drive it, but the driver would not be able to enjoy the views.

Amazing Helicopter/Hana Experience

Helicopter ride was amazing way to see the island and broke up a trip to Hana which we wouldn’t have done if we drove round trip or on our own. Tim was our pilot and was awesome and very informative. Loved our driver Gail! She had so much personality and made the drive from Hana home so much fun. They only critique I have is that the lunch provided was not very good. Overall this is a great way to see Maui and Hana!

Luxury Road to Hana Drive and Helicopter Tour back

It was a beautiful sunny day for tour. This small group tour is the way to go as it's relaxed, in luxury van, you don't have to wait on tons of people loading and unloading from the bus and you get personal attention for pictures and knowledge from your guide. Gayle was our guide who drove us to Hana. Gayle was friendly and knowledgeable. She knew the road well, which is important since that road is so small and dangerous in places. She stopped in all the best places and suggested what to see and where to take photo shots. She told us much about Maui facts, history and culture.
After reaching Hana, we took a Blue Hawaiian Helicopter short ride back to Kahului. Tim was our pilot. Very calm and knowledgeable. We got to see 2 whales with baby whales but we didn’t go around Haleakala the volcano.

Great Trip to Hana

At first we were disappointed as we were under the impression we would take the van to Hana and helicopter back. However we were pleased with the narrative provided by Sammy. She did a great job. Scott did a phenomenal job as our guide and driver. No one could have done a better job. He was always attentive and personable. It was nice only having one other couple on the helicopter and in the van. We didn't feel crowded at all.
