You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Highly highly highly recommend this surfing experience!! My fiance and I are beginners and by the end of the session were riding more waves into shore than we were falling on so we call that a success! The whole team is a genuinely great group of people. Our guide Sarge is a gifted instructor, very patient and encouraging. He gives you proper instruction and then personalizes it for each learner after he observes what each person needs to focus on. We learned so much about life on Maui and about the ocean from him- we were talking about this experience the rest of the trip! Another great part is having an experienced photographer take action shots for you so you have proof of your surfing skills!! Thanks Kai! We can't wait to do it again!

This was our first time to surf and the whole experience was beyond our expectations. Our instructor, Super Tortuga, is a great teacher and communicator, with an abundance of patience. We had a variety of physical skill level in our group and he was able to get us all to novice level surfers in the 2 hour session. Kai helped us document the event with great photos capturing our advancing skills from fun blooper shots to ‘live action’ shots on the boards as proof we did it! Highly recommend This event, the instructor and photo options. The location at Kalama beach park was ideal to learn and hone our new skills.

My daughters (both 13) had a great time. They surf on the east coast so this was a completely different experience. Instructor was knowledgeable and adjusted well when the wind picked up quickly. Highly recommend!

The lessons were great!!! My nephew was able to ride several waves and even do a flip on his board because the instructor was so helpful!! The photos that they take are worth the entire trip. They look professional and I will definitely be blowing them up and hanging them in my house.

Fabulous experience! My boys had such a great experience with our instructor Turtle/Rogue! He was super consciousness on safety and so patient with my teenagers. (12/15yrs). I watched on the side but felt safe they were in good hands. Pictures are also available for an additional cost, a little pricey but pictures of this experience is so worth the cost! Kids definitely were up surfing half way thru. Definitely would recommend this place but bring a chair to watch from a far. Thanks fir a great experience Rogue❤️

My family and I had a great time. Our instructor, Epps, was really nice and friendly. A big plus of that you get to see a lot of turtles. The only draw back is that the area you surf on is very rocky. It sucks when you fall off or walk on the ground.

I had an amazing experience! Epes was my instructor and even though he did an excellent job with teaching us, I never got the full courage to fully experience the wave haha! But I had the time of my life and am extremely happy I tried it nonetheless! Everyone else was doing amazing even though there were some other newbies. The other instructors and the camera guy were all very nice. There were lots of nice waves for those that did ride them ❤️ Rash guard and shoes are all also provided. All in all, if I ever find myself on HI again, I am finding the boys 😊 Mahalo🤙PS: To everyone who does these lessons, please be respectful of everyone's time, instructors and other participants, don't be late and slow down the whole group. As someone who has worked in the tourism field, i am sure it is very distressing to the instructors when half of the people showed at 10am and started checking in, getting ready and signing forms. The instructors did a great job of doing it as fast as they can but it is really the late people who should be more considerate! Enjoy the ride and don't forget to tip 😋

We had an amazing time learning how to surf with Epes! He was encouraging and patient and really knows his stuff! We were all able to learn to surf today and caught multiple waves!!
