If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great app! Definitely recommend!

This app was great! Interesting stories mixed in with touring guidelines. A couple things to note: 1) you probably won’t get service on the road to Hana, so you should download the app and tour before you start driving. 2) the app somehow still uses gps to track where you are and play the relevant tracks, so it will randomly skip around based on when it gets signal/when it doesn’t have signal. As a result, it may cut stories short or skip stories all together. I wish the app had explained this upfront, but it didn’t, so just watch out for that. Overall really great though and much better than just driving with no guidance, particularly for those of us who do not have the patience to pre-plot everything with a guidebook before our trips.

After downloading the app and tour, you must preview the tour before visiting, and for the GPS to operate correctly, you must complete the instructions outlined above. With our app, GPS is not linked to a mobile signal. I also have 100 more self-guided tours for various parks, scenic drives, cities, and historical places in the United States – perhaps you'll have a chance to experience them the next time you visit! Also, remember that the trip you purchased is valid for a lifetime. As a result, you may listen to it at home or at your next visit.

The Self-Driving Audio Tour for the road to Hana was well worth the price. Love how it automatically started explaining the history of Hawaii/Maui and location as we got to certain points of our journey. Highly recommend it.

Informative and slow paced

For a self guided tour, this is great. You learn a lot of history of the area and about the various points. The technology was a little hard to figure out at first but my son took over and we were good to go! It automatically plays the audio as you’re driving by each stop, if it is coordinated with the GPS. You have to download it all before you leave because once you are on the highway there is no service. It is very important to note, the road is closed past the visitor center, if you are going clockwise. You cannot go all the way around the island. We got four hours around to discover this and had to turn around and go back around the island to get back to our starting point — that was very frustrating! But if you know it upfront, and you were prepared for your VERY long day ahead, you will enjoy it.

We loved the waterfalls and hearing the history of Hawaii. Our audio went out on 25 and we were not able to hear the rest. That was dissapointing but we went on with the map.
