Directions: Meet up is right in front of Makena Bay (Ocean). If using GPS, enter Honoiki Street and Makena Road, make a right at the bottom of Honoiki Street on to Makena Road. Our tour will be fronting the ocean. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a residence, the location is at the beach.

Ride of a life time

The entire crew that took us on the ocean bike ride were phenomenal. They took us on such a great ride and taught us allot things regarding Hawaiian culture. Will go again next year.

What a great way to have fun in the clear blue ocean. Bikes very easy to maneuver and very safe. I loved the spirit guide stories from our guide Keahili. Got to hold sea urchins and starfish and view the beautiful glass houses and Molokini crater. Hawaiian family owned business. Would totally do this again!

This was so much fun! It’s perfect for people like me who are nervous of the water but want to be on it and be out further! I felt super safe. Didn’t feel like I was going to tip over. The tour guide was super knowledgeable. We were able to see whales, dolphins and a turtle. I would classify myself as not in the best shape but didn’t feel like I was over exerting myself. Got plenty of rest. Truly a must do experience in Maui! Was so so much fun!

This experience was great! The tour operators were thorough and explained how the water bike worked. They gave just the right amount of history and narration in their tour, followed by sufficient "play time" with the bikes. I was surprised by how easy they were to use. Highly recommend.

Excellent people who run this excursion! We biked in the clear sea blue water and saw dolphins and turtles! The guides are very knowledgeable in history and legends of Hawaii. Even if you don’t see wildlife, just biking on the clear blue water and looking into it is mesmerizing. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The bikes are easy to operate and so much fun!

What a fantastic trip we had! Loved all of the stories and professionalism they displayed. They even found a couple of items ( octopus and sea urchin) that we could look at and hold. One of our highlights while in Maui.

Surf Cycling 101

The two tour guides were very informative of the island and the culture. They were extremely helpful of getting you on and off the surf cycle which was very beneficial to me. You are able to explore the water at your own pace in view of the tour guides. Please be sure to bring a water punch for your cell phone to get photos of yourself/group on the surf cycles. Also, do not be intimidated by the waves that were by the shore. It was very calm once in the water. Lastly, if you can, book the earliest tour as the sun shines bright like a diamond and it gets very hot while out there. One final thing. I love how one of the tour guides dived in the water to bring up a few living creatures or shells for us to hold and see up close. It was a great experience.

Great way to get on the ocean. It was fun. It's a good cycling workout on the water. The tour guides are very knowledge about Maui. You don't need to know how to swim to do this. You stay on the bike the whole time.

Fun experience, with great customer service and communication. When we had questions a few days before the trip, the staff promptly answered. But the best part, in terms of customer service, is that when our cruise ship departure was unexpectedly delayed, they actually held two bikes and a guide back for us so we were able to catch up with the rest of the group when we got there. The experience itself was a blast. It did not require great skill - only the ability to ride a bike. And it was a blast to do it on the water. Everyone was so helpful. They gave us reef safe sunscreen and a bottle of water. The ocean was beautiful and the whole experience was fabulous.

I traveled to Maui solo for my birthday! I wanted a fun getaway where I could interact with new people and do things I don’t usually do… water biking is one of them! It was just as fun as I expected. I am not an athletic person by any means and I was fully capable of participating. The instructors will not let you down. They are super knowledgeable about Maui and the history of Hawaii. They are very relatable and had nice conversation while we were biking, and gave good tips on what other fun things I could do while I’m here. I really enjoyed it.

This was an amazing experience. The water bikes are easy to operate, and anyone who can ride a bike can safely and comfortably enjoy being close to the elements. We were able to cover quite a bit of ground on the water during our time on the tour. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. One very pleasant surprise is that the tour is operated by locals. Our tour guides were born and raised in Maui educated in a Hawaiian immersion program, and told us wonderful stories about the island and our surroundings. It all culminated into such a memorable time. Highly recommend!
