Jonathan_P, Feb 2023
Our tour guide, Oscar, was rude and a lot of the information he gave us about the different sites that we visited was inaccurate. Our itinerary was also changed at the last minute, which messed up our plans for the day. The activities were great, but having a bad tour guide made it a mixed experience for our group.
Response from Host, Feb 2023

Convenient and Well Organized Tour
Evan_S, Dec 2022
Our Tour Guide, Ligia was prompt at our AirBnb for our 9 o clock pickup which proceeded to a fun run of events for the day. We felt like each site was accommodated with the appropriate amount of time allowing for flexibility for shopping or eating as needed. The tour is organized smoothly without TOO much time in the car and plenty of time out exploring. We were very thankful for our driver and all of Liagas knowledge on CDMX and the history of the places we went.
Response from Host, Dec 2022
Dear Evan_S, we feel very glad to know you had a joyful and fun time with our partner Ligia, hope to hear from you soon! Ivana, Amigo Tours
I feel ripped off
Jeff_L, Jun 2022
We requested an English speaking guide. Our guide’s English was minimal at best and she didn’t seem to know much of anything about the places we were going. Xochimilco, Coyoacaun and Casa Azul are well worth visiting. She was a nice woman but basically just drove us around in silence. I’ve had Uber drivers in CDMX that shared more about the city. We paid a lot of money for a private guided tour and didn’t get it.

Jeff_L, Jan 2022
The tour was fantastic. Our driver and guide Ligia was wonderful. She was very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating to our interests. There didn’t seem to be anything we could ask about that she didn’t know the answer to.

Private Tour Extraordinaire!
Lori_S, Mar 2020
We had a wonderful day with our guide, Leonardo, and driver, Carlos! They picked us up at our hotel and the adventure began right away. Leonardo's breadth of knowledge of Mexican history is amazing. We never felt rushed at any site. We even spent time in the Coyocan Market where Leonardo translated and offered suggestions for where to find certain items. Carlos is an excellent driver and made us feel safe. We can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you, Leonardo and Carlos!
Response from Host, Mar 2020
Hello Lori :) We are happy to know that you enjoyed this fantastic experience with us. Leonardo is a very pofessional guide and he will be happy to recieve your comment. We hope you come back soon. Regards, Amigo Group.
Una Aventura Magnífica
Cara_V, Feb 2020
Our guide, Lulu, was fabulous at making us feel comfortable and taken care of during the wildness that is Mexico. As she said herself, she was our assistant, driver and bodyguard. But we were the boss! She made sure we understood what snacks we were ordering and the best ones available wherever we were. She would tell us the stories and give us advice in great English. Additionally when she would leave us to explore one of the stops (for example the Khalo museum), we decided the amount of time we wanted to spend within reason. I don't think we would have had as much fun or as easeful of a trip without our guide. Thank you!

Amazing private day trip!
Catherine_L, Jan 2020
Our guide, Ligia, was amazing! She picked us up promptly and we set off for Coyoacan. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot of Mexican history with us. We did a light walking tour of Coyocan. Then she gave us an hour of free to time to wander around the town before the Frida Kahlo Museum opened. Per her recommendation we grabbed churros and coffee. She went to check-in on the museum tickets and we met her at the museum a couple blocks from where we started. The line at the museum was shocking long (admittedly we went on a major holiday). The tour had sent people to wait in line to purchase tickets, so Ligia was able to obtain the tickets almost immediately upon our arrival. We were able to enter the museum within minutes of opening, effectively skipping the huge lines and ultimately being some of the first people in the museum. We then drove the rest of the way to Xochimilco. On they way, we stopped at Estadio Azteca to take photos. We had a Xochimilco boat to ourselves and we were able to get drinks/food (i.e. lunch) on the boat which was good. Then we had some time to wander around the market. On the drive back we also stopped at the university to see the amazing mosaic building designed by Diego Rivera. Overall this was an amazing day trip and we would highly recommend. Easily the best value day trip we've done in a long time!
Response from Host, Jan 2020

Full-Day Mexico City Tour
Peter J, Mar 2019
With only a few days to discover Mexico City, this was the perfect introduction to this beautiful city! Our guide Antonio was superb as was our driver. MC is so massive that it is not possible to do more than scratch the surface in a couple of days. The stops were all "must-sees," the University, Coyoacan (delightful neighborhood!), the Blue home where Frieda and Diego Rivera lived (I learned so much - 2 geniuses who found each other and inspired magic) and the fun, crazy boat ride in Xochimilco were great and Antonio added wonderful insights! Throw in a gaggle of rooftop bars (not part of the tour, but they were happy to take you wherever you wanted!) and you a near perfect day! Highly recommended!

Hector D, May 2018
I was really looking forward to the Frida museum. Our tour guide told us we could not access the Frida museum because the line was too long. He offered to take us to a different museum which also had paintings of Diego Rivera. We did not make it to that museum either. The whole tour also felt a bit rushed. At every stop we were told to be back in XX minutes. Throughout the entire trip we had people trying to sell us something. The guide was overall nice and knowledgeable but the tour was not worth the hefty price.
