We had the best time with Jerry and Paco. They were on time picking us up at our Airbnb in Mexico City. We then drove in a nice, private van to Teotihuacan where we started our tour. Jerry handled the tickets and we walked the whole way through the ruins, learning so much along the way. Jerry was friendly and knowledgable and we had the best time!

Loved this tour of Teotihuacan. Tour guide Yosafat texted me the day before to confirm pickup location and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also brought extra bottles of water for us which was a step above what I was expecting. We really appreciated having him all to ourselves so that we could ask as many questions as we wanted and were also able to set the pace of the tour. This enabled us to stop for pics whenever we desired and he was kind enough to take multiple pics of us as well. Yosafat came fully prepared with a notebook full of photos/descriptions of the sites that enabled us to get a broader understanding and appreciation of the ruins. He then took us to tequila/mezcal tasting. Before going, I'll admit I was convinced that I wasn't going to find it interesting and that I certainly wasn't going to be buying any of it. Well, I ended up really enjoying the stop. I learned a lot about the agave plant and saw how the liquid is extracted. I also discovered that there are many variations of mezcal, even ones that are flavored/sweetened and easy to sip. I ended up buying 2 bottles. I should stress that I did not feel in any way pressured to do so by the seller. I simply liked the uniqueness of the products there. Overall, great trip that I'd readily recommend to anyone.

Noah picked us up at our hotel and off we went. We had an amazing day at the Teotihuacan. We avoided most of the crowds and Noah had all kinds of great info to share, including pics, apps, and documents to help us better understand life back in 200BC. Great trip.

Our tour with Hector was phenomenal. I can comfortably say he was one of the best guides I've ever had, and I travel a lot. Hector was super communicative before the trip to confirm everything. He was punctual and made great conversation in the car on the way to Teotihuacan. At the site, and was enthusiastic about our learning, but also balanced it with a disclaimer that if we weren't interested in something we could walk off and look around as he was speaking. But we spent a lot of time asking him questions, and Hector was was eager to answer them. We just had a very light, pleasant, but informative morning with Hector. It was out best activity during our trip to Mexico City. Thanks again Hector for the wonderful tour!

Had a great time on this tour to teotihuacan! We were met right on time and made it to Teotihuacan before a lot of the larger tours. Our guide Gerardo was very friendly and knowledgeable, and it was great to experience the site with someone who knew so much about the historical significance, as well as the history of how the site was excavated and how it came to be in its current state.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! Hector was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Everything about the experience was seamless: easy booking process, pick up at our hotel, the tour itself, and drive back. The only thing that felt a bit commercial was the stop at the end, where we did a few tequila and mezcal tastings, and learned about agave and obsidian. We didn’t mind it, but worth mentioning.

Where do we begin? If you’re contemplating visiting the Pyramids of Teotihuacan but unsure wether or not you should…do it!!! This private tour was worth every penny. Edith was not only knowledgeable and attentive but the location itself is a sight worth seeing. Having no knowledge of the history of Teotihuacan and Mexican culture, Edith made it easy to understand and relate to. She truly was the most incredible guide and you can tell she loves her job! This site is deemed a Unesco site for a reason and goes on forever! It’s an experience we will never forget.

Worth every penny, best way to see Teotihuacan

This tour was excellent! The guide, Yosafat, was on-time, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were able to ask questions, take photos, etc.—didn’t feel rushed at all. The only thing I would change would be for the van to have shoulder belts (it had just lap belts). A little concerning since you’re going on the highway to reach Teotihuacan. But the driver was safe and they had bottled water in a cooler, so that was nice. Very much appreciate Yosafat and the tour! Highly recommend. We would have missed a LOT by not having a guide. It was well worth it. Just bring sunscreen, hats, snacks and water—and comfortable shoes because it’s a ton of walking with no shade. I wasn’t expecting to climb anything since I read the Pyramid of the Moon and Pyramid of the Sun are closed for climbing…but we did get to climb a few smaller ones that were quite steep, so definitely wear supportive shoes (no flip flops)!
