Teotihuacan is a great site. But the tour and time could have been managed better. There wasn't much time spent at Teotihuacan. At Tlatelolco, we were made to wait in the sun for 20 minutes after the tour because the driver was filling gas! (He could have done it There was a very long 1.5 hr shopping stop at a workshop before going to the pyramids. There they talked about cactus, tequila, stone carving etc. Then there was overpriced souvenir shop next to the workshop. It would be better if we do the main activity first and shopping later as shopping can take a long time for some people. There was also some confusion around which workshop to go to. After the pyramids, we were brought to lunch in the premises of the same workshop (so we could have finished the pyramids first). Vegetarian lunch was not good. Our tour guide was not very comfortable in english. She was speaking very fast and very little. At Teotihuacan, she hardly spoke for 5 minutes. The guy at the workshop selling souvenirs was far more passionate about his job.

Antonio and driver were great tour guides. Antonio was extremely knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. The tour went for about 9 hours, the lunch was delicious and we spent a decent amount of time at all destinations. Highly recommend this tour.

This was a nice introduction into the history and culture of Mexico State and City. Our tour guide Papa Antonio was very informative, he is also bi-lingual. Our driver, Eli, was also very helpful. The pyramids themselves are a wonder of nature. And you will be introduced to other natural wonders of the area as well. Our lunch was included along with pick up and drop off at the hotel. I highly recommend this day trip excursion.

The tour was was very well organized and efficient. Transport to and from each location was very well thought out and there was ample time to explore each site and take it in. Carlos was an amazing guide providing great context and knowledge of each location and the history and importance of each location. He was very attentive and made sure everyone felt welcome and enjoyed. Next time we are in CDMX we will check out the other tours they have to offer!!

This was a solo trip for me but turned to be awesome n well organized trip. The guide Sergio did a good job, knew his history well. He explained every structure there and gave us sufficient time to explore and did not rush. The Pyramids were amazing , a different experience, the murals, culture, civilization everything was interesting to learn. The Guadalupe bascilica was also interesting.

Great and reliable service on tour. Good lunch included and team Ellios-Charly were professional and friendly. Good english and well planned visits. The tour started 8:15 and ended 17:45, including pick up and drop off, a bit too long day to our taste. Supposedly it should have finished around 16:00 (it says 8-9hrs in description and there was no traffic), so only minus for that fact as we had plans afterwards and we think the tour could easily be cut to 5-6hrs which could be great!

Wow! We and Antonio who was not informative but a caretaker too. This tour was both English and Spanish. The tri us def all day but there are several stops that is cool to see. The Basilica and the pyramids are def a high light and a must do to anyone coming for a visit. But this tour was great because of Antonio.

Eliezer and Carlos are an excellent team. We selected the tour because it said the tour as described was in Spanish. Nonetheless, a family of non-Spanish speakers joined the tour, and Carlos accommodated to their request and gave the explanations both on Spanish and in english. Way beyond what was expected from the clear description of the tour. Carlos is very knowledgeable and provides excellent information of the historic significance of the places visited. Highly recommended.

We did the Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Basilica tour. Our guide Antonio was fantastic, so knowledgeable and kind but the amount of time we spent at each location was pretty crappy. Only 45 min at the basilica, and only 55 min at the pyramids. We spent well over 2 hours at the lunch spot/obsidian gift shop (same location) where they also show you how obsidian/silver products are made. Lunch service was slow and food was mediocre. The hostess made sure to tell everyone repeatedly tip wasn’t included and was demanding about it. Overall I wouldn’t do this tour again due to how little time we spent at the main attractions especially when it stated 1 hour would be spent at the basilica and 1.5 hrs at the pyramids. Visiting these iconic places was amazing though.

Great tour, but make sure if you are expecting English that it will not be "Spanglish"!

The trip was comprehensive and we enjoyed the places we visited. Our guide, Carlos, appeared to be very knowledgeable, however, we were very disappointed when we were told that this tour, which was supposed to be in English, was in fact going to be in "Spanglish" - there were only 3 English-speaking people in our group, the remainder spoke Spanish, and the majority of the information imparted by the guide was in Spanish, with a very occasional short translation into English. Therefore, we definitely do not feel we got the full benefit of the information being shared, and would think twice before using a Viator again for such a tour.

Pretty fun tour. Antonio was delightful! Would have preferred it to be condensed into 6 hours -- an hour each for the church, the pyramids, and the lunch, and then 3 hours for driving (traffic really is that bad) -- but it is what it is. Only real complaint is that they advertise hotel drop-off and pick up, but in fact they dropped a group of us 30 minutes from our hotels. Right before a thunderstorm. I arrived back at the hotel exhausted and drenched. Hotel drop-off might not be feasible given the traffic, but they shouldn't advertise it if they can't do it.

Antonio was overall ok. However very little time was given to the main attraction. We couldn't see the only pyramid that is allowed to be climbed. We barely managed the museum. Time in the obsidian shop could be reduced and used here. Otherwise a fun trip.
