In overall it's a nice day trip from Mexico City. Taxco is a lovely town. Cuernavaca is not so interesting, but I understand why they made the stop there, because it's a long drive to taxco. Although the Taxco is very nice, I didn't feel there was a lot of content at the trip and that's why it gets from me 4 stars out of 5. When we arrived to Taxco we got a small explanation about silver and then we got 30 minutes to walk around at a jewelry store. It's pretty obvious that the agency gets a commission if someone buys anything. Then we had up to the center of the town and got some explanations on the way. It was maybe 30 minutes. Then we were being led to a restaurant to eat. Then we got really short explanation on the main church and got 2 hours free at town. So all in all it's a nice trip from Mexico city if you have spare time, but feels that they could put more content to it.

Taxco is a beautiful old town. I loved wandering around the hilly streets. Bought some silver jewellery from one on the many silver stores. The place we were taken to was very expensive, but others were reasonable. Make sure to check for the 925 stamp. Also we skipped the restaurant we were taken to (expensive) and got a taco elsewhere. Worth the trip.

Guide was excellent. Amount of time spent travelling was too much and unfortunately there was an accident enroute which added to the frustration. Recommend that a different venue be used for lunch - below par food and service. Town of Taxco was worthwhile seeing

The tour guide bullied the driver! And the Driver did not think it was funny nor did the passengers! The guide made rude comments and mean remarks against Jesus, a couple from Dallas and controversial remarks on negative images of the Mexican identity??? Please, I just want informative information on the beautiful places we visited. No political opinions! I’m on vacation??

This was the first tour I did when I arrived. Carlos was my guide. The shuttle picked everyone up and we headed out, over one of the many mountains that surrounds Mexico City. Seeing all the pretty pine trees on the way was a sight for sore eyes for this city dweller! Cuernavaca was very historic and we stopped at the Cathedral de Cuernavaca, where we learned about the indigenous peoples and the conquistadors. After lunch, we went to the colonial town of Taxco. They have a smaller version of the "Christ the Redeemer" statue, even though that is not included on this tour. Take one of the many VW taxis up the super narrow streets, for the best panoramic view of the city! Very relaxing place, full of small garden squares, where you can listen to mariachis, buy a quick snack or souvenir and have a siesta!

This tour was wonderful ! Nice ride in the minivan from CDMX to Cuernacava and Taxco. Our guide Jose was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He took us to a restaurant with the best view in Taxco. Even during the pandemic those 2 cities were open and everyone was wearing mask. Also we had free sample of tequila during this tour. The pick up at our hotel was great.

El tour no está mal, creo que deberían de dejar de parar en Cuernavaca (que aunque esta linda la catedral no es la gran cosa) y estoy de acuerdo que sirve como un lugar para estirar las piernas pero solo eso; no hay nada turístico fuera de eso en ese lugar. Taxco por otro lado es un pueblo hermoso, con mucha historia y muchos lugares por conocer que te falta tiempo de hacerlo por lo poco que te dan para explorarlo por tu cuenta. El guía fue bueno nos explico muy bien y estuvo al pendiente de nosotros y del grupo. Sin embargo, el restaurante que nos recomendado fue pésimo, para nada bueno, no aceptaban pago con tarjeta y la comida era pésima, gastamos casi $700 pesos en una sopa de tortilla, un mole rosa (típico de Taxco) pero súper malo y una cerveza… la verdad una burla y engaño que lleven a los turistas a ese lugar. La verdad preferiría ir por mi cuenta a explorar Taxco y tener más tiempo en ese lindo lugar.
