The ride was a great way to start the day. MJ was so friendly and helpful. Seeing the colorful boats and listening to the mariachi bands was a lot of fun. They provide all drinks and food during the ride as well. This was more of a “day in the life of” experience instead of a tour. Just something to keep in mind as there was not a lot of education on the floating gardens or how they got there.

Turned my frown upside down!

This was the best tour I could have asked for. I was in a funk for my partner leaving me alone in MC and me finding out last minute. I showed up late to the tour but Sam (our tour guide) was sweet enough to help me get to the next stop to be with the group and have a great time. We drank mezcal (my personal favorite, beer and tequila were provided too mezcal is just very good) laughed, listened to amazing music to dance to, went to see and hold some reptiles and then was wonderfully serenaded by the mariachi band to end the tour. It was a beautiful day on the canal thanks to Sam! I highly recommend everyone check it out. I will definitely be back and try to figure out how to have Sam as my guide again! Thank you Sam!

This experience was very fun. Dania - our hostess - was great and ensured the party kept going. We were on the boat with 7 other people but it didn't feel crowded at all and everyone was super fun. My only complaint is that there are so many boats on the canal that it takes a very long time to get out and you're constantly hitting other boats. The experience is longer than an hour, contrary to what some of the reviews say. Plan for at least 2 hours! I definitely recommend this experience, especially if it is your first time visiting Mexico City.

Great tour with an even better host- Dana! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good time and not wanting to commit to a 6-8 hour tour like some of the other combo packages offered. We visited some of the other sites independently (such as Casa Azul), which worked well for us. Affordable, very helpful instructions prior to arrival, and a fun way to see a UNESCO world heritage site. Thank you again, Dana!!

I booked this tour for my 9 friends and I. Even before the tour started Andy was very attentive and informative. She gave me clear instructions and useful information for our meeting point. Upon arrival she introduced herself and made us feel welcomed. We had a boat to ourselves and it was prepped with fruits and snacks. As we were getting situated she overheard it was my birthday. She quickly put up a happy birthday banner. I thought that was a very sweet detail of her. As soon as we commenced the ride she gave a quick introduction of the place and had a speaker ready for us to connect our music to. Pretty soon she was making us drinks and letting us get excited and take in our surroundings. She answered any questions we had and pointed interesting things along the way. I could tell she was very knowledgeable and I would have loved to have her tell us more but my friends and I were in a celebratory mood so she catered more to that. At one point she even had a snack cake with a little candle for me and got some Mariachis to sing happy birthday for me. Again another beautiful detail of her. My friends and I had the best time of our lives. We didn’t want the boat ride to end because we were having such a wonderful time. Totally recommend this tour. Specially if you are looking to have a great time with a group of friends. Andy is the best!

We had a great day! Dania was an efficient & welcoming host and we felt like she had invited us to a celebration!! Plenty of information & culture, also great music and space to dance if you felt inclined. Our guide Dana was super hospitable and we had the best time with our newly made friends. We enjoyed the friendly competition of the guacamole contest as well as the quick introduction to our boat mates. We organized a ride back in town with our new friends. Food highly recommended before the ride as chips are enjoyable but light. I loved learning the history of the area while hanging out on the boat! It was a great day!

Fun. Be aware a long drive from city center - around an hour. Relaxing and fun at the same time. Expensive as you can get much cheaper there but easy and Andy our hostess was awesome!

Making memories on a trajinera

Andy was our tour guide, she was sweet, friendly, informative and welcoming. My kids loved making guacamole using the molcajete during our canal tour, we had chips and fruit with unlimited water, non and alcoholic beverages. We went during Pascua holiday week so the canal wasn't as packed as it could be. We enjoyed the mariachi and vendors as well. The entire trajinera ride as about 2 hours which was perfect. Highly recommend booking with Andy and/or her associates.
