We had such a fun time cooking with Raphael at the loft. Lots of great conversation and Raphael’s easy manner and ways of explaining each recipe step made it so much fun. He takes great pride in his craft and it shows. We made pasta, two sources and tirimisu- delicious! And of course accompanied by a little wine😋 . We would highly recommend Raphael and this class if you can.

We were greeted by our chef Rafael at the gate, and he took us up to his apartment. The table was set with wine glasses and a few small bowls of different snacks. We sat down and talked a little while with Rafael, and he gave us an introduction to his career as a chef and what we were going to cook that evening. We started making the tiramisu and as we went along he told us some of the theory behind the food, and the vast difference between homemade and the tiramisu you get at restaurants. Next it was time for the tagliatelle. It was my first time making a pasta dough, but Rafael was a superb teacher and he guided us through the whole process, and we where left with an excellent result. As a self renowned tomato sauce connoisseur, it was really refreshing to see how Rafael made his simple yet tasteful sauce. He also recommended us his favourite bottled sauces, and the best brand of dried pasta. Finally the three of us sat down and ate. I gave this experience as a birthday gift to my girlfriend, so I really hoped that it would be a learning experience for the both of us to take home in our own kitchen, but it turned out as much more than that. We talked continuously with Rafael the whole night, and we had such a good time, sharing laughs and personal anecdotes. (His english was perfect) Rafael is such a nice person and he made us feel very welcome. It was just like going to a friends house for dinner. My girlfriend and I both left high spirited, because we really had a wonderful night, which turned out even better than expected! Thank you very much Rafael:)

Best cooking class I've ever had the opportunity to do. The teacher was great and taught us the best recipes from her grandmother. The location and the area used to cook was large enough for our group. The class was in perfect English and the meal was amazing. I would do this class again just to try additional recipes.

GREAT EXPERIENCE ! It was a great experience and a really fun way of knowing more about Italian culture. Maria was incredible, a really genuine person who takes the time to help people with these lessons earnings. It was a very well spent afternoon and we were able to speak four languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian). This was an amazing experience and so much more than I could have even imagined! I did the cooking class with my boyfriend and we spent 3.5 hours chatting and cooking the gnocchi and tiramisu with our instructor, who was so nice and funny! She explained everything so well and provided us will plenty of snacks, champagne, and wine to enjoy while we cooked and ate our meal! We learned so much through her about Italian cooking but also just about Milan and Italy in general, and we really bonded with her and got to know each other very well! Such a great, intimate, tasty, and enlightening expereince! 10/10 recommend :)
