    Amazing experience!
    Michael_S, Mar 2023
We traveled to Rome and Florence. We took in all the tours that most people recommend and we were delighted with our experiences. But Emilia Flavors far exceed our expectations, Alessandro was an amazing guide. He offered history of the country side areas we visited and drove through. He brought us to three family owed businesses each as amazing as the next. I cannot recommend and thank Alessandro enough for his thoughtful and kind hospitality.
Wonderful personalized tour of local producers!

Alessandro's tour is a delight. We visited medium and small producers in the area in very small groups or with no one else there (midweek tour) and we got to learn all about the products, meet the producers, taste everything, and all with the guidance of Alessandro (in perfect English) with lots of knowledge about each stop. We only regretted our travel schedule and luggage restrictions did not allow us to purchase more of the perishable items, but if you have a way to easily transport purchases, I highly recommend this tour! It is a little off the beaten path but highly accessible - Alessandro picked us up at the train station that is easily reached from Bologna or Parma and dropped us off there, too. Alessandro is easy going and knowledgeable and puts visitors at ease. I highly recommend this tour!

Thanks Diana for your very kind and authentic review! I very much appreciated the quality time with you and your travel mates! Looking forward to seeing you again in Emilia to have more local products.
    Great food tour

Alessandro’s tour was awesome. His communication before the tour was excellent. We first went to the Parmigiano Reggiono factory, followed by coffee, then we talked to an acieto master about how Balsalmic vinegar is produced. Finally, we visited a local Lambrusco winery.

Thanks, Diana, it was really nice to show you the arounds of Reggio. You and Mike have been very much interested in our local products and it was very nice to have a conversation about it. Good luck with your trip!
