Overview

ATV Adventure with Lunch, Swimming, and a Ganja Field Visit Learn about life in the Jamaican countryside with this adventure excursion, which combines ATV adventure with rural exploration. You'll head out to the countryside on an ATV, where you'll stop for swimming, get to see a ganja (marijuana) field, and sample fresh fruit. After you're done, you'll head back to your staging area for a homemade lunch.

The attraction is situated at approximately 1 hour 15 minute from montego bay. Time stated are APPROXIMATE pickup times, and not tour start times. Any hotel in the Montego Bay area, but hotels in trelawny and runaway bay, ocho rios(royalton BW/WS, ocean coral spring, excellence, bahia principe etc) will attract a additional fee for transport. Very important to have drivers licence to drive

      The tour was really great, I highly recommend it! You get to see more of the country side away from the city. Definitely a unique experience. The citizens are so informative about the history and culture, I learned so much!

      Amazing. Not only was this excursion an absolute adventure, but it was filled with so much education that it has given me more of an appreciation of how Jamaicans are so resourceful, truly admirable, pure and lovely people. On a sidenote, the food that we were served, which was a vegetarian meal, was absolutely delicious.. Our tour guides, Colowayne and Deano we absolutely fantastic! Ask for them! Our transportation driver, Dale educated us and kept us entertained! He was fantastic!

      I am so glad we decided to book this excursion. The driver and tour guides were so kind and delivered excellent customer service. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and taken on our tour. The views were absolutely breathtaking! The Jamaican culture is so rich and beautiful. We learned so much from this community!!!

      Everything was simply perfect! The pickup, the ride, the welcoming staff, the ATV, the swim, the food, the views!! Wow. The only thing missing to make it better is to make it even LONGER. We would've spend the whole day. Definitely booking again when I go back to Jamaica

      This entire experience was perfect. The Rasta-safari was a little over an hour away from our resort. Our driver Leo made the ride seem shorter. He was very kind. When we arrived to the safari we were greeted with smiling faces, drinks, and a conversation about the area around us. We took short hike to the ATVs where there were water and clean restrooms. Then our guide broke us up in groups for the private rides. My guide was Calway. He was AMAZING! Calway made the ATV experience so cool and special. We stopped along the way to different parts of the area to check out the beautiful scenery, animals, nature and natural fruit and spices. The mineral lake was a great resting area. After that we headed over to the ganja field and given a educational tour on the different type of plants and what they were used for. It was cool. After the field we had a delicious vegan lunch which was appropriate to the Rasta culture. Then we left. Everything was so nice and planned out really well. When you go bring cash to tip the guides. They work really hard and deserve a great tip.

      Amazing experience!! Driver was on time, very friendly and the vehicle was clean. He even stopped us at the infamous KFC and Juicy Patties. Great experience on the UTV’s. My tour guy stopped along the country side and cut fresh June Plums, starfruit, sugarcane and guinep berries. Very friendly and I felt safe. The food wasn’t good at the end but the area that they have setup is very updated, modern and clean. Even the bathrooms are beautifully remodeled. Great experience!! I don’t smoke weed so the ganja field didn’t interest me but I was still very pleased with this excursion.

      Our experience during this tour of Jamaica was 10/10! We learned so much about Jamaica itself and the community we toured. I could not recommend it more! Swimming in the river was the highlight of the tour & could have stayed there for hours (no water can compare to this river!). If you are looking for a tour to do while you’re visiting DEFINITELY choose this one, you will not regret it!!

      This is our second time doing this tour, and I would come back a third time. The people here are so genuine and kind. The tour itself is an amazing experience, the scenery is unbeatable, and you get to see the real authentic country side of Jamaica. The people in the village are very welcoming, I always appreciate them allowing us to peak into their everyday life. Thank you to our tour guides Deeno and Alecia for the wonderful tour and kindness, we’ll definitely be back :)

      I enjoyed this experience. Loved the staff, trail and I also learned alot about the culture and the plants and natural healing they provide. The vegan lunch was awesome as well. I'm a travel agent and I definately give a thumbs up and recommend everyone ro visit here.

      This was by far the best excursion we did on our trip! I really enjoyed learning about there culture. The tour guides were really nice and informative. The drive from Montego Bay to the area was about an hour but it was worth it. Lunch was made fresh and provided to us.

      I loved riding through the town seeing the locals and being by the River side of the fresh waters our tour guide Carlos was great he even cut me some fresh mango and took great pictures

      This excursion was so much fun. It was an hour & half drive from Secrets Montego Bay. Upon arrival we hiked up to the dune buggys. From there were drove/ rode them through the rain forest, a farm and through a town. We were asked if we were okay with rain. We said yes in hopes of dry weather, but it rained. The rain made the already fun excursion TEN TIMES BETTER! After our ride was over, we have an authentic, vegetarian meal of some sort of tofu, cabbage, rice and beans. the cabbage was excellent… I like meat, so the tofu wasn’t an option for me. I suggest packing a towel and carrying with you in a bag or backpack.

      From the pick up with our driver Owen to Carlos, one of our amazing guides during the tour; the experience was EXCEPTIONAL! In between was the icing on the cake with Terry Ann. I hope that I got her name right. She was PHENOMENAL in giving us the rich history of the community and the culture in general. I would love to do it again and bring back some of my loved ones and friends! The vegan lunch provided was great too! A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you for the opportunity!
