Our Carmel shop is located in Carmel-By-The-Sea at SW Corner of Ocean Ave and, Mission St, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93921. Most parking right by our shop is only 2 hour parking, so we recommend parking at the Sunset Center or in the surrounding neighborhood for free all day parking.

Shortchanged in Carmel!

I paid for a 2-hour e-bike tour but our guide brought us back after only one hour and forty minutes. I have never experienced anything like this before even though I have booked many bike tours in the past. I find it hard to believe that the guide could not have found an extra 20 minutes of sights to show us in beautiful scenic downtown Carmel! The trip operator needs to provide better training to the guides because this is unacceptable. Interestingly, the guide complained several times that we were ahead of schedule but made no effort to remedy the situation. All he had to do was ride us around the beautiful streets of Carmel for 20 minutes and everything would have been fine. Do not book this tour until the operator has rectified the problem. By the way, a competing e-bike company lists over 2 dozen sights in Carmel that this operator did not include.

First off I would like to apologize that you feel like you did not get the full experience you signed up for. We're sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. It was an uncommon instance and we’ll do better in the future. The tour you were on happened to be that guides first Carmel tour. So his pace was a bit to fast it sounds like. This is the first review he has received that isn't 5 stars.I have personally been leading tours in this part of California for almost 15 years and have trained countless guides in the area and have ran most the competing business at one point or another. All of our tours are a bit different and our stops vary depending on the guides. We typically run the Carmel by the Sea tour for 1.5-2 hours, so once again our apologies that the hour and forty minutes wasn't long enough for you. In the future just express your thoughts and concerns to the guide and he would have happily taken you out for a bit of an extra ride. Tours are brand new for our shops and we strive to give people a memorable and wonderful experience. Thank you for letting us know about this. Your feedback helps us do better.
