An amazing experience with an authentic tour guide. Worth travelling from Australia! Very informative and we had access to sights that are off limits without a tour

Hearing the history of the Navajo and experiencing the landscape and caves with a native was awesome. Jamie was very knowledgeable and personable.
Good sights but skip the dinner & speech
Nancy_L, Oct 2022
Going off the public road to see lots of other sights was wonderful. Our guide Cody was 4+ - very friendly but a bit scatter-brained in his descriptions. We were last to the “dinner” and spent WAY too long having to listen to the owner’s free-form monologue. 43 short dancers by 1 guy in the dark
Dream catcher tour was amazing
Melinda_L, Oct 2022
The views and the guide entertaining us. Richard was a super guide. The performance at the end of dinner was a bit long in detail but enjoyed the dancing.
Highly recommend!!

Our guide Cody was very personable and informative. Highly recommend him to others. Gained much knowledge of the Navajo people and culture. Was in awe of the valley.
Weather did not help
shaun_r, Aug 2022
There is not much that can be done about the weather, but there should have been a closed vehicle made available. The guide showed up 30 min late and changed the meeting point without letting us know. We were fretting that we had missed the tour, it was just by chance we saw the truck in a different area.

The history and the information was extremely wonderful. Our guide was excellent. The land was just breathtaking to see. I just have one suggestion as an Executive Chef I was really forward to have a Na taco which I did enjoy , however, the manner in which it was served could be improved. Perhaps placing the condiments in containers for serving and keeping the drinks cooler if possible. Also adding the park pass fee to the tour ticket ,so that everything is paid for all at once. I would recommend this tour anyone. It was worth it in every way.

The tour captures all the high points in Monument Valley but I would still do the driving loop for another view and more time. There were some interesting history and area facts shared on the tour and some special Native music at the Hogan formation . We had stormy weather but the tour went anyway the truck is covered but every stop, start or turn dumps water in the seating area so hope for sun! Most of the tour is drive by so photography can be a challenge except at the 4 or 5 stops. The dinner is ok...could have been better...dining area needs a little maintenance and ample seating as multiple groups come together for the meal. The native entertainment after dinner is ok...not exceptional and the tour company owner asking for tips (for himself) was a turn off. He was part of the show and offered "if you want to tip me I'll be standing up here for a while" never have I ever heard this and have been booking with Viator since 2015. Also call the day before to verify where to meet your guide. There appears to be some confusion per the ticket info and the tour people. We were missing 4 people for quite some time because of this confusion. We booked a stay at The View because that is where our ticket said we would be picked up...easy. It isn't necessary as the tour also goes from the Visitor Center. Either way you will pay an entrance into the park in addition to your tour fee. Would I do it again? Probably..and hope for better weather.
Our bucket list tour at Monument valley
Dennis_K, Aug 2022
Cody was an excellent guide. He represented the tour company very well. But, most of all, the Navaho people with passion and dignity. He explained the culture, language and scenery very well. The dinner and all the entertainment were 5 star. Excellent tour, dinner and scenery.
Must experience Dreamcatcher Tour!!

Wow! An absolute must do when visiting Monument Valley. Our guide Cody was very knowledgeable about the land, his culture the Navajo Tribe. We were taken to areas that only guides can take you. Navajo tacos for dinner while the albino Navajo Indian, Mr Simpson told us about the four clans of his people and went in depth about the land and Navajo Culture. Then we were treated with songs and traditional Indian dancing. I am so grateful for this magical experience. Thank you.
Awesome
