We had a great time with our guide Frank. We got some great photos that our family will forever treasure!
Not just a sightseeing tour!
Jeffrey_D, Oct 2022
Learning about the landmarks as well as the Navajo lifestyle and culture. See an authentic dwelling, and learn about rug weaving from a Navajo clan member.
Carol, our guide was very good with tremendous knowledge that she shared to make tour a lifetime memory.
FredG_Y, Jul 2022
The guide Carol sharing her lifetime history growing up in the area and Navajo Indian history. Very interesting.

Had a wonderful trip with Sandrea yesterday morning. She shared a lot of great information about the area and Navajo culture and also stopped at a few “hidden gems” along the way. It was a fantastic way to see Monument Valley!
Amazing

Bumpy Ride to Eternity
Margaret_R, Apr 2022
It was my husband’s birthday, he’d always wanted to see Monument Valley, so I surprised him with this trip. The back country tour was excellent, many up close and personal visits with the rocks. Our guide, Larry Team, had many stories to entertain us along the way. He was patient and friendly, we enjoyed his company. I won’t tell you the best experience we had, it’ll be a surprise for you when you go. “Hogan Arch” It was wonderful and well worth the bumpy ride. Hubs had a blast and proclaimed it best birthday ever.
Awesome Monument Valley experience.

Our tour guide, Larry Team, really made the trip worthwhile. His knowledge of the Navajo nation and the Monument Valley area brought the experience to life. He told fantastic stories about all the rock formations, as well as interesting stories of his family history. You must book a tour to really appreciate the beauty and history of the valley. If you drive the route yourself, you'll miss out on so much information - it will not be the same. If you get Larry Team as your guide, you'll have a wonderful experience.
Backcountry tour with Larry is a must!

This was a great tour. What made it great was the Navajo guide, Larry Team. Very informative, full of heart as he talked about his culture. Spent extra time with our group, took pictures for us, answered all questions. He was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended!

Our guide is just ok. She barely left the van at each stop. The van itself was fine, but it did not come with a foot stool which would have been helpful. The sights covered were amazing.

Our guide Larry was phantastic. Not only was he knowledgeable of all the sights and places, he also told us a lot about Navajo customs and the origins of the Navajo nation.
It was okay

Navajo landscape Being able to see the Navajo lands and learn their history. The weather was bad for my trip and a guide was not well prepared. The riding was very rough w/o seatbelt. It should had a pre-depature safety check and it must be a regiment.
Response from Host, Oct 2021

An all-around enriching experience
Kyle_T, Oct 2021
Our tour through the back country of Monument Valley was phenomenal. The rock formations are undeniably magnificent, but the cultural history of the Navajo people is what really brings the landscape to life. Our tour guide, Larry Team, was knowledgeable, insightful, and genuine. He beautifully wove together the geological history, the cultural history, and perhaps the most enriching - his personal experiences and narrative as a Navajo. It is because of Larry that the tour was not just great, but outstanding.
